What better way to get ready for a new year than with a Calendar challenge.
I love using my Webster's Pages Planner. I have always used a planner (guess it's all those years of lesson plan books!), but don't always take the time to decorate the pages. Well, this challenge gave me the opportunity to not only decorate the January pages but to also use up a lot of my extra die cuts. Most of the cuts are from LaLa Land Crafts.
I hope you'll join our Calendar challenge - don't forget to use a die cut.
I was thrilled to be asked to be a Jaded Blossom guest designer today.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
Santa has always left blank Thank You notes in my daughters' stockings. Since they were little, we felt it was important that the first thing they did after Christmas was to write notes to the people who remembered them with gifts. This tradition has carried into their adult lives as well.
I designed two Thank You cards to share with you today.
I added twine and Doodlebug Designs Sprinkles to both cards. The patterned papers are from Authentique. I colored with Copics and added some Frosted Lace Stickles for the snow.
Thanks so much Michelle and Candace for allowing me to share with you today.
I'm back to share another Kitty Bee Designs Spotlight project.
This month I'm using this cute Good Luck Panda image.
I colored using Copic Markers. The image and patterned paper mats were cut using Jaded Blossom's Postage Stamps Dies and Stitched Rectangle Dies. The sentiment is from JB's new Bubbly stamp set. The patterned papers are Echo Park Dots and Stripes 6x6 pad. After coloring, I added some sequins and twine to complete the card.
There's a new Spotlight project featuring Kitty Bee Designs' images everyday.
We'll be back on January 3 with Challenge #1 of 2018!
I made this fun shaker card for my final Christmas card of 2017. The detail dies are from La-La Land Crafts and the stitched and scallop circles are from Jaded blossom.
It's difficult to tell, but I used gold linen card stock for the die cuts.
Here's wishing you a very Merry Christmas!!!
I'll see you in the new year. We can keep our Christmas going LOL.
Once again our Cut It Up challenge is sponsored by Ink on 3 (Fluerette Bloom). We were able to select an SVG from the store to create our project for this challenge - gift box or bag for holiday giving. I chose the luminary box from the Holly Days One Piece boxes set.
This was so easy to cut on the Silhouette. I placed clear acetate behind each tree, added a star to each side and then added the bow that is part of the other set in the file. Just snap on the votive and you've got a really cute little decoration OR a gift box without the votive - so versatile, so easy.
I hope you'll join in our challenge for a chance to win a gift certificate from
Remember that you may use any image from any artist. There are prizes for both DT entries and NON DT so don't hesitate to enter. Just follow the link near the top of the post.
I love this Santa/Sleigh die from La-La Land Crafts.
I used classic linen white pearl card stock for most of the the die cuts which are from La-La Land Crafts and Jaded Blossom. The background and sentiment is from the Mercury Glass stack that I bought at Hobby Lobby - LOVE it!!!
I hope you'll follow the link about and share your Santa projects with us.
I think this is such a sweet image. I colored with Copic markers. I made a frame using Jaded Blossom Stitched Rectangles and added a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Hello Deer stamp set.
I added some gems and a snowflake from my stash.
Mid Inspiration means you still have time to join our challenge.
Well, we're in the final stretch for this year's Christmas cards! I always tell myself that I'll keep making them even after the holiday and this year I'll be able to do just that since TMCC will continue throughout the new year!!!
For this card, I've chosen a gold linen background and for the die cuts, classic white linen pearl and Mercury Glass. The detailed dies are from La-La Land Crafts and the stitched mat die is from Jaded Blossom.
Come on over and join our challenge. If you've already mailed your cards, you'll be getting a start on next year! Remember, you can share ANY Christmas project. It doesn't have to be a card.
I love snowmen so you'd think this would have been an easy challenge for me but it wasn't.
Maybe it's because I had too many choices!!!
I just received my November release package from Jaded Blossom and one of the stamp sets
is "Yeti to Party." It included this adorable Yeti and lots of sentiments so it can be used for many occasions. I just love it. So, here's my take on the snowman challenge.
Isn't he adorable? I also used dies from JB's winter dies, border dies, and panel dies. I colored using Copic markers.
So pick your favorite snowman and come join our challenge. Just follow the link above.
I choose "Oh Christmas Tree" as my inspiration for this card.
I love the way this shaker card turned out using dies from La-La Land Crafts and Jaded Blossom.
The sequin mixture is from Craftin Desert Divas - Tara creates the most amazing mixes - and the flower centers are glitter sprinkles from Doodlebug Designs.
I used both my Cuttlebug and Gemini to cut all the dies
Rosie was colored with Copic Markers. Even though my home decorations are very traditional, I enjoy using some non traditional colors for my cards. Everything on this card is from my craft stash. I just used bits and pieces of this and that LOL.
Remember that our challenge is open to everyone. You may used any image, any medium, any artist.
