It's December. I love the Christmas holiday; family traditions, decorating, gifting, and sending all the cards I've been making for this design team. It feels so good being ahead of the card making.

They are all finished and ready for mailing. If you've been playing along with us, you should have a pretty good stash as well.

At BYSH we don't quit because it's December. We have a new sketch for you and today I'm sharing my first design team make. I added Archival Burgandy ink to my Betterpress plate to get the leaf images. After using the companion dies to cut out the leaves, I used water and a brush to add splatters and a little color release. Using the water color paper allows the Betterpress to give a deep stamped impression. I also used a Betterpress plate for the sentiment stamping and pressing on gold foil paper. It's been fun experimenting with different papers, inks, and other mediums to create some interesting results.

I hope you'll join in our challenge and show us your Layered Up project.

Just follow the link above.

Larelynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16234710696482850120noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2245700650290789884.post-57461775044559195242023-11-01T00:00:00.001-07:002023-11-01T00:00:00.153-07:00Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers ~ November Sketch #39
Hi Crafty Friends,

It's the start of a new month so we have a new sketch challenge at BYSH.

You have all month to share your entries in our Facebook Group HERE.

Here's my first card for this month inspired by a card we made during the Pinkfresh Studio Create and Connect Workshop.
