Double Trouble Challenge #218 ~ My Guy

Hi Crafty Friends,

Double Trouble Challenge #218, MY GUY, is now open.

Our challenge has 3 options so you'll want to visit the blog (link above) for a detailed explanation.
Each option gives you more chances in our Random Drawings.
 -
Here's my project for #218 and how I interpreted all the Things.

ALL THE THINGS

Thing 1 Trouble Maker
offers the 3-2-1 challenge:
3 Washi Tape and/or paper scraps  -I've used Washi Tape from my stash
2 Die cut elements -I've used a combination of die sets from Jaded Blossom: Gnome Garden Add ons, Wheelbarrow Die, and Stitched Circle
1 Masculine project- Father's Day card (sentiment from Taylored Expressions
Perfect Pennant - Dad

the first time I've tried iYou may stop with Thing 1's challenge but to add a little more fun we have Thing 3 Twisted Sister's optional twist: Any element your guy enjoys spending time - my hubby enjoys his summer vegetable garden.

And finally, to support our sister challenge blogs, Thing 2's Double Dare is to use TSOT #697
I used the sketch for inspiration.  It can be seen the sketch in the graphic below.

I'll be back bi-weekly on Mondays to share more Double Trouble challenges.
I hope you'll play along.

Anyone, male or female, who loves gardening, will like this card. Your paper background strips add a lot and I like your images too.

This is a perfect card for my husband... he loves working in the yard. And even though he is not able to golf, he somehow still manages to work in the yard, once a landscaper always a landscaper. Love all the scrappies you were able to use in the background and the images are perfect for a landscaper... very handsome card.

Fabulous card, Larelyn! What a great die-set. The images are perfectly placed against the fence-like strips. It actually reminds me of how much my mother loved her vegetable and rose gardens and spent hours tending them. (And African violets, too.)
