Woohoo! I'm guest designing for Jaded Blossom!

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today is my day to post on the Jaded Blossom blog.
I am thrilled to be guest designing this month.    I've been using Jaded Blossom products for years and still fall in love with every release!  Truly, Jaded Blossom stamps and dies are my go-to supplies for almost every project I create.

We recently said our final goodbye to a very dear friend and I wanted to make a sympathy card for the family.  I love the elegant simplicity of this card.

I used the following Jaded Blossom products:
Stitched Rectangles 1 and 2
Border Dies
Autumn Leaves (stamped with bronze metallic ink and heat embossed)
Wishing You Comfort stamp set (also heat embossed)

I also dry embossed using the Cuttlebug Forest Branches embossing folder.
The papers are shimmer card stock from The Paper Temptress and Crafter's Companion.

Thanks again, Michelle and Candace.  I'm looking forward to the rest of the month.

Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends,
I'm so excited to announce that I am November's Guest Designer for
Jaded Blossom.
I'm starting off my GDT gig with a project for the monthly challenge: Color Inspiration.  You'll find the inspiration picture below my project.

And here's the color inspiration:
No automatic alt text available.
I wanted to make a gift box/gift card holder.  I figured that once the gift card was removed, the recipient could use the box again either for another card or to hold a special gift or treat.
Here are the Jaded Blossom products I used:
Kraft Box
Gift Cards Galore (stamp set)
Flower Dies
Spring Dies
Dimensional Banner Dies
Gift Card Die
You can find all of these amazing products at the Jaded Blossom store HERE.
My thanks to Michelle and Candace for inviting me to be their guest designer.

Cut it Up Challenge #160 ~ CAS

Hi Crafty Friends,

Challenge 160 at Cut it Up Challenges is one of my favorites:  CLEAN AND SIMPLE.

It's a busy time for crafters so CAS is a welcome style right now.
Our sponsor, CAS -ual Fridays, provided this wonderfully simple stamp that will be so useful in many different ways.

The stamp included the sentiment and the flower.  I added "Enjoy the" from another set.  Just a few simple layers and this great stamp - easy peasy, CAS!!

Be sure to visit Cut it Up Challenges for more CAS inspiration and to enter our challenge for a chance to win a gift certificate to CAS-ual Fridays.

PS:  don't forget to use a die cut!

Kitty Bee Designs ~ DT Spotlight for October

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's my turn to share a DT Spotlight project for Kitty Bee Designs.

I love Kitty Bee's penguins, they're all so adorable.  This month's card is made using
iFish Balloon Penguin which can be found HERE.

The patterned papers are Authentique.  I used Jaded Blossom's Tropical dies for the waves and JB's Fish On stamp set for the sentiment which is stamped on a stitched flag die by LaLa Land Crafts.

I colored using Copic markers.

DT members share a post everyday so if you want to see lots of adorable projects using Kitty Bee stamps, be sure to stop by.

My Time to Craft ~ challenge 382

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's our next challenge for My Time To Craft.

The theme is Halloween OR Cats.  I wanted to use my newest Jaded Blossom stamp sets to create this fun, sort of spooking Halloween card.

Jaded Blossom stamp sets:

I also used Copic markers and Harmony Inks by Spectrum Noir.
This style is a little out of my comfort zone but it was really fun to create!

Cut it Up Challenges #159 ~ CASE a project

Hi Crafty Friends,

For this Cut it Up challenge we are CASEing projects!  So, what does that mean?

It has several meanings but what we're actually doing is getting inspiration from someone or somewhere else, then giving credit while making it our own.  It can literally mean: Copy and Share Everything or Copy and Selectively Edit.  I tend to use the second meaning.

For my project I've gone to Pinterest to look at all the adorable wooden pumpkin blocks.  You can find an example HERE.  Since I'm not into wood crafts or painting, I wanted to create the same idea using paper.  Our sponsor, My Scrap Chick, had the perfect file.

The file was easy to cut on the Silhouette and the assembly was pretty straight forward as well.  I'm really happy with the way it turned out!

I hope you'll join in our CASE challenge.  Please share your project and include a link to the project you've CASEd in your post.  Please do not post someone else's work on your page.
