Cut it Challenges #316 ~ Grateful and/or Thankful

The weather in NorCal has finally changed to fall and our leaves are turning.  Best of all, the temperatures are so much cooler.  I love fall!
Our challenge at Cut it Up is GRATEFUL and/or THANKFUL.Here's my design team inspiration.

For this project I used:

The Outlawz Festive Friday Challenge ~ October 2024

Hi Crafty Friends,
There's a new challenge open at Festive Fridays.We always have 4 themes for you to choose from.  This month's themes are:ChristmasFall ColorsHalloweenPlaying in the Leaves
Here's my project.

I was playing around with different techniques for this one.

I foiled the leaves foil plate onto heat resistant acetate then attached the panel to the card base under the 3/4 inch flap to which I added a heat embossed sentiment.  I used an Altenew 3D embossing folder for the inside panel.  I've placed a panel on the back for a personal message.  I love the foil on acetate!

Cut it Up Challenge #313 ~ Colors of Fall/Autumn

Happy Fall!  Of course in California our weather decided to have one more go at Summer weather - ugh!
Our Cut it Up Challenge #313 is Colors of Fall/Autumn.
I created this card for my daughter's 2nd wedding anniversary.  She got married in September so her colors were fall colors. 

All of the crafty products I used are from Pinkfresh Studio.

Cut it Up Challenge #290 ~ Layer it Up

Hi Crafty Friends,
Time for a new Cut it Up Challenge and it's one of my favorites ~ Layer it Up.Layering is one crafty technique that I use on almost every one of my projects.
Here's my card using images and a sentiment created using the Spellbinders' Betterpress.It's my newest crafty toy and I'm loving it.  I've never used the letterpress process but this new tool really makes it easy.

I began by inking up a Ranger Water Color panel using Distress Inks.  I added Archival Burgandy ink to my Betterpress plate to get the leaf images.  After using the companion dies to cut out the leaves, I used water and a brush to add splatters and a little color release.  Using the water color paper allows the Betterpress to give a deep stamped impression.  I also used a Betterpress plate for the sentiment stamping and pressing on gold foil paper.  It's been fun experimenting with different papers, inks, and other mediums to create some interesting results.

Pearly Sparkles October Challenge ~ Autumn or Halloween

Hi Crafty Friends,
Welcome to October and the newest challenge at Pearly Sparkles.
This month we are celebrating Autumn(fall) or Halloween.I chose to create some fall/Thanksgiving cards using some fun products from Jaded Blossom.

Using Jaded Blossom Triangle Card Mat dies provides enough die cuts for two cards.  The papers are from Authentique, one of my favorite companies.

A Sweet Little Tag

Passionate Paper Creations & Friends (on Facebook) is being sponsored by Lawn Fawn this week.I made this sweet little tag using their stamp set, Jump for Joy.

I used masking in order to to make the fox appear to be jumping in the leaves.The images were colored using Copic markers.  The sentiments are included in the set.The die cuts are from Jaded Blossom's Luggage Tag dies, Fall Dies, and Mini Tag Dies 3.

Jaded Blossom November Challenge ~ Anything Goes

It's time for Jaded Blossom's November Challenge.
The theme is ANYTHING GOES so show us whatever project you'd like.  Just remember to use a Jaded Blossom product to be eligible to win a JB stamp set of your choice.
I've used the Gable Box Die to make one more fall-inspired treat holder.

I also used several of the leaves from the Fall Dies set.  I used the large oak leaf to make a window (covered with acryllic) for the box.  You can make quick and easy treat boxes with this die - it's one of my favorites!

Cut it Up Challenge #238 ~ Thanks/Thanksgiving

Our theme for Cut it Up Challenge #238 is THANKS and/or THANKSGIVING.
I chose to design a Thank You card but used a fall color scheme.Our sponsor for this challenge is STAMPlorations and the French Marigold I used on this card is from their digital stamp collection.

I colored using Copic Markers and embellished the card using Jaded Blossom's Pinecone Die, Basic Word Dies, and Fall Dies.  The background was ink blemded and then splattered.  I also added a few mini sequins.
