Cut it Up Challenge #330 ~ Send Me Flowers

Hi Crafty Friends,

We have a new challenge for you at Cut it Up Challenges.

The theme is SEND ME FLOWERS and we'd like to see something floral on your project.

There are so many amazing floral die cut sets available right now along with amazing stamps and embossing folders. The die and stencil set I'm using is from Pinkfresh Studio.  It's the die and stencil set, Garden Party.  This set is so versatile.

I chose to die cut from heavy white cardstock and use the stencils to apply the color.  You could use markers or colored cardstock as well.  I also used Pinkfresh Studio's Scalloped Grid and blanket stitched bracket dies.

I hope you'll join us for this challenge.

Cut it Up Challenge #329 ~ So Sorry

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our Cut it Up Challenge for May 2 is So Sorry.
This is a great opportunity to build your "thoughtful" stash whether it's sympathy or simply sending thoughts and/or prayers. We always seem to need these cards but they're often difficult to create. Here's a chance to add to your stash.

Here's my card.

I've used Pinkfresh Studio's Framed Art set for the sentiment, Butterflies in Cloche stamp, die, stencil suite, Dotted Scallops cover plate, and Scalloped Grid cover plate (which I heat embossed using embossing ink and clear sparkle powder,) and Jaded Blossom's Mini Tag Dies 3 for the sentiment.

I hope you'll play along with our challenge.

Cut it Up Challenge #323 ~ This Makes Me Smile

Hi Crafty Friends,

Time for another CIU Challenge.  Challenge #323 is THIS MAKES ME SMILE.
There are so many interpretations of this challenge.  Maybe it's the theme of the card or the colors, or the technique and/or tools you've used.  You decide.  Just remember to tell us about it.

Here's my card.  The color combination and using stenciling makes me smile.

I've used Pinkfresh Studio's Reason to Smile stamp, stencil, die set, LLLC banner die, Pinkfresh Studio Ornate Rectangle Frames and Dotted Scallops cover plate.

I hope you'll play along with our challenge.  Add your card to the link above.

Pearly Sparkles June Challenge ~ For the Girls

Hi Crafty Friends,

New month and a new challenge at Pearly Sparkles.

Our theme for June is "For the Girls."

I've used several products from one of my favorite companies, Pinkfresh Studio.

The sentiment and washi tape floras are from the Enchanting Flora suite.  I love using PF washi because there is a companion die set making it so easy to cut out the florals and stamped sentiment.
I've also used a PF essential die for the sparkly frame and PF inks to blend the background which is a Spellbinders 3D embossing.

I hope you'll play along with us this month.

Cut it Up Challenge #300 ~ Happy Birthday!

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time for Cut it Up's 300th challenge!  Wowzers, I remember when we celebrated our 100th and thought it was a really big deal.  So many cards, so many challenges and now I've been the blog owner for a little over a year.  Time flies when you love crafting.

Our 300th challenge theme is Happy Birthday.

For this birthday card I decided to use some new crafty products.
The card base and window were cut from Spellbinders Make a Wish Arch Labels.
The flowers are from Pinkfresh Studio's Breezy Bloons.  I used the stamp, die, and stencils from this set.  There is also a press plate but I heat embossed the stamp instead.  The gems are also from Pinkfresh Studio.  The sentiment is Jaded Blossom's So many birthdays 4.
I used Pinkfresh Studio ink cubes and design papers from Authentique.

I hope you'll play along with our 300th challenge.

Cut it Up Challenge #299 ~ Colors of Spring

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time for a new challenge at Cut it Up Challenge Blog.

Those of us in the USA are truly ready for spring so to help it along, our theme is
COLORS OF SPRING.

Here's my card:

I recently participated in Pinkfresh Studio's Create and Connect Cardmaking event.
This card was inspired by one of the techniques we used - partial die cutting to create the border.
If you haven't used Pinkfresh Studio's stamp/stencil/die sets, I encourage you to give them a try.
I used the Cosmos Bunch set and Pinkfresh cube inks.  I also used a coverplate for the inside background and inked the stripe to fill in the space.  I've used one of my favorite color combinations for this card, lavender and green.

I hope you'll play along and share your project through the link above.
