Cut it Up Challenge #293 ~ Celebrate
This is one of those sets that can be used again and again.
I hope you'll play along with us. I also wanted thank you if you've been playing along this year.
It was scary taking over ownership of a blog and we've been so happy with the participation even without sponsors or prizes. Card makers are special and are willing to share just for the love of the craft.
THANKS SO MUCH.

Passionate Paper Creations & Friends~ Your Next Stamp Sponsorship
I just love characters that make me smile and these dogs are just having too much fun.
I used patterned paper as the sentiment. I wrapped the patterned paper with cellophane and added sequins before closing it (easy way to make shaker card without using acetate), then adhered the die cut mat. I cut the top mat with patterned paper and foam to add a little dimension between the mat and shaker.
Your Next Stamp is offer a special discount to those who visit and join our PPCF page.
Thanks for stopping by,

Passionate Paper Creations & Friends ~ Joy Clair Sponsorhsip
This card was designed using the ALWAYS IN STYLE set. I die cut using Whimsy Stamps Envelope Edger Die set. A little bit of Copic coloring and a satin ribbon was all that was needed to finish this card.
I encourage you to follow the link to Joy Clair Designs. There are some wonderful images for your creative inspiration. Be sure to visit PPCF during the sponsorship for a special deal.

Cut it Up Challenge #246 ~ Snowmen
I loved this sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Winter Wishes stamp set and figured this might be a clever way to convey the message.
If you haven't worked with digital stamps, you're missing out on some creative versatility. This is the same stamp, but I was able to reverse it and resize it to create the card.
I colored using Copic Markers, cut the images out using a Scan NCut 2, and used the Gemini Jr. for die cutting.
I hope you'll play along. Oddball Art is providing a $10 gift voucher to their store for our lucky winner.

Pearly Sparkles ~ First Challenge of the New Year!
I used the Lookin Shark stamp set and Peekaboo Window 4 die, both from Whimsy Stamps. The Copic coloring was inspired by Jennifer Dove. The snarky sentiment is from The Rabbit Hole Designs Sassy Birthday set.

Cut It Up Challenge #204 ~ Create Your Own Background Paper
Hi Crafty Friends,
We have a really fun challenge for you at Cut it Up Challenge Blog.
We want to see you create your own background paper.
I had fun with this one. I'm trying to expand my blending and stamping skills so here's what I created.
I blended Distress Ink onto some Papertrey Ink white paper. Then I die cut the slimline frame using a metallic paper(Whimsy Stamps) and placed it over the blended paper to determine the placement for the panels. I used Jaded Blossom's Spring Splatters for the top and bottom panel, stamping on top of the blended background. I used the slimline die again to cut each panel from the section I wanted. Finally, I added these adorable cacti from Cute Cacti (Whimsy Stamps) and added a LaLa Land Crafts cloud and some grass clusters. The sentiment also came from the Cute Cacti set. I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops and called it done.
I hope you'll play along with us. Be sure to visit the Cut It Up blog to see even more amazing backgrounds!

August Challenge at Pearly Sparkles ~ Starts with a B
I've needed several birthday cards lately so naturally BIRTHDAY was the perfect answer for this challenge! (along with BLUE and BROWN) I just love the stamps created by The Rabbit Hole Designs. The image and sentiment is from one of their newest sets, Doggone. It's such a fun set. I also love the card mat dies from Whimsy stamps and have been wanting to use this one. I love CAS and this card fits the bill.
I hope you'll join us for this month's challenge. Just follow the link above.

My Time to Craft #396 ~ CAS
I used a Whimsy Stamps border die for the simple embellishment. I colored using Copic Markers.
I hate fussy cutting so I used my Scan N Cut2. Did you know that if you have "open" parts in your stamped image you can close them using a pencil. Just draw a line around the open part, scan and cut, then erase your line. I did this between the wings and the feet.
I hope you'll join in our challenge. Just follow the link above.

Die Cuttin' Divas ~ Challenge #415 Use Any Animal
For this cute little treat holder I used some great Authentique papers and the Candy Caddy die from Jaded Blossom. The bunny dies are from Impression Obsession and the watering can is part of the new Whimsy Stamp release. I found these yummy crispy carrot candies to put in the treat holder.
