Sketch Saturday #760 ~ Optional Twist: Masculine

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have another Sketch Saturday challenge for you.  This sketch has the optional twist of making it a masculine card.

Here's my card using an adorable image from LaLa Land Crafts colored using Copic markers.

I also used Whimsy dies to create the chevrons and Altenew's Organic Linen embossing folder for background interest.

Here's the sketch for your inspiration.

I hope you'll play along.  Just add your project to the link above.

Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers ~ Sketch 32, Project #2

Hi Crafty Friends,

I'm sharing my second DT card for the Sketch 32 challenge at Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers.

I made a companion card to my first one shared but changed the designer papers (flipped them over) and added a different LaLa Land Crafts image.

These cute little critters are so easy to color.  I used Copic Markers.

There's still plenty of time to join our challenge and don't forget that the
April Linky Party begins tomorrow on the BYSH blog.
It's a week long party with lots of wonderful prizes to be had.

Here's sketch 32 so you can join our monthly challenge ~

Cut it Up Challenge #273 ~ This Makes Me Happy

Hi Crafty Friends,

We have a new theme for Cut it Up Challenge #273.
We're excited for you to share WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY.  Wow, this is almost as good as Anything Goes, right?  We all have things that make us happy and the design team will be sharing a variety of "Happy" projects.

Crafting is my jam and my craft room is my happy place.
I decided to make another Rolodex card to share with you.

I used Jaded Blossom's Rolodex Dies and Kawaii Crafts Stamps.  I also used LaLa Land Crafts Paint Stencils and Crafty Friends Clear Stamp set.

Link of your project using the link above.  Be sure to use a die cut and link back to Cut It Up.
We'd love to read about what makes you happy in your post.

{BYSH}Cardmakers November Sketch #28 ~ Project 2

Hi Crafty Friends,

I hope you've been following {BYSH}Cardmakers on Facebook.

The newest challenge sketch is always released on the 1st of the month and there is a new blog post every Friday highlighting different DT member's designs.

You are invited to add your project to the challenge album in the Facebook group.

Both of my cards have been shared on the {BYSH} blog and I've shared my first one here.  Now it's time to share my second card.

This adorable Hippos is from LaLa Land Crafts and so is the knit pattern background stamp (bet you thought it was designer paper!)  The mats are all dies from Jaded Blossom.
I colored using Copic markers and stamped using Distress Ink.

Here is the sketch for Challenge 28:

I hope you'll play along and add your project to the Facebook album HERE.
There are prizes to be had for one lucky winner.

Cut it Up Challenge #230 ~ Seen Any Good Movies?

Hi Crafty Friends,

It' time for another Cut it Up Challenge.

Our challenge rules are simple: use at least one die cut and follow the theme - easy peasy.

Our challenge sponsor, offering a $20 store credi, is PINK AND MAIN.

I sure have missed going to the movies and this card brings back those memories.

I used my three favorite stamp and die companies for this project.
The window card mat die is from Whimsy Stamps, the image is Marci, a Lala Land Crafts digi image, the sentiment, flag die, coffee cup, and film dies are from Jaded Blossom.
The popcorn was a free image I downloaded from Google.

I hope you'll play along with this challenge.  Just follow the Cut it Up link above.
