Cut it Up Challenge #309 ~ Clean and Simple

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our theme for Cut it Up Challenge #309 is
CLEAN AND SIMPLE.

I love layers and lots of die cuts so this is sometimes a difficult theme for me but I also love seeing cards with simple, clean layouts.  I've used Pinkfresh Studio products for this A2 card.
I couldn't help myself!  I did add extra layers to the sentiment and popped up the butterfly LOL.

Products used:
Fluttering Butterflies Suite, washi tape, stamp and die set
Folk Edge Circles Dies.

I hope you'll play along.  Be sure to visit our Facebook Community page where we feature our Design Team's Top Cuts for each challenge.

Outlawz Challenge ~ Festive Friday April Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends,

I'm so excited to announce that I have joined the Outlawz Challenge - Festive Friday design team.
It will be fun being a part of another challenge blog and I hope you'll join me by playing along.

This challenge has FOUR themes for you to choose from each month.  April's themes are:
Christmas (always a choice)
Happy Easter
Spring is in the Air
Clean and Simple (CAS)

I have some new crafty tools that I've been playing with.  My newest is the Glimmer Foil system
so I decided to follow the CAS theme with this card made using the Glimmer and plates from Spellbinders (sentiment) and Pinkfresh Studio (design.)

Please visit the blog (link above) to read the challenge guidelines and upload your project.
We're also on Facebook HERE where you can read about All of the Outlawz challenges.

Thanks for stopping by.

Pearly Sparkles January 2024 Challenge ~ Clean and Simple

Hi Crafty Friends,
Happy New Year 2024.

I hope you've had a wonderful holiday season.  Ours was full of family, friends, and so much food!!!
I guess I wasn't ready for the new year because I completely forgot to write my post for the
Pearly Sparkles January Challenge - ugh!  I think I'll blame it on my advanced age or too much food and family over the holiday.
Well, here it is.  Our challenge for January is Clean and Simple.

I stenciled the leaves onto Betterpress paper using inks and a layered stencil from Pinkfresh Studio.
Then I ran the paper through my Platinum 6 using my Betterpress system and a press plate from Spellbinders.  I used Ranger Archival ink for the pressing.  I'm going to make more using different color palettes.
I hope you'll play along with us.

Hugs,
Larelyn

Cut it Up Challenge #272 ~ CAS (Clean And Simple)

Hi Crafty Friends,

There's a new challenge up at Cut it Up Challenges.

This is one of my favorites, CAS (clean and simple.)

Using lots of color and/or die cuts always produces a wonderful project but sometimes you really want something simple and understated, which can also be quite elegant.

For today's project I used an Altenew 3D embossing folder and one of LaLa Land Crafted newest sentiment dies - that's it.  I think using a quality card stock and gold foil adds just enough elegance.

I hope you'll play along with us.  Just add your card using the link above.

By the way, if you'd like to be considered as a guest designer for one of our upcoming challenges, please contact me at cutitupchallenges.gmail.com.

Thanks for visiting.

Pearly Sparkles July Challenge ~ Clean and Simple

Hi Crafty Friends,

Time for a new Pearly Sparkles monthly challenge.
Our theme for July is CLEAN AND SIMPLE (CAS). Please, no patterned paper or embellishments, or multiple layers :).

Here's my CAS card using just one 3D embossing folder, Distress Inks, and a sentiment stamp.

Altenew has some of most stunning 3D embossing folders which definitely make stand-alone statements.

I hope you'll play along with this challenge.  Just upload your design to the link above.
Have a wonderful month.

Joy Clair's New Digital Release ~ Springish Fiesta

Hi Crafty Friends,

Joy Clair is one of the companies that sponsors Passionate Paper Creations & Friends on Facebook.
A new digital release is being featured and some of the team members at PPCF had the privilege of sharing projects using the new release.

I created this card using the Cosmos leaf from the You Are Loved set.  It's truly a CAS card made more elegant with some layering, and little Copic coloring and some gold foil.

I hope you'll visit Joy Clair and share some crafty love.
