Red and Green

It's challenge day at Delightful Challenges and we're using RED and GREEN for our projects.
I chose the Candy Cane Train from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

I colored the image with Copics and Spica glitter pens and added a little inking around the edge.  The border punch is from Michaels and the ribbon is Bazzill.  The patterned papers are My Mind's Eye and Bo Bunny. I did add Frosted Lace and Crystal Stickles to the window.

You'll definitely want to visit the Delightful Challenges to see some fabulous red and green projects.  If you're not already pumped up for holiday crafting, these projects will inspire you.

Please join in our RED and GREEN challenge for a chance to win a gift certificate from this week's sponsor

If you're celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday, I wish you and yours a wonderful day.

It's a Celebration

This week's theme at Delightful Challenges is "Celebrations."  The design team members are sharing projects which are inspired by different reasons to celebrate - weddings, birthdays, etc.

Since it's so close to Independence Day I made a tri-fold card which celebrates America.  I used papers from the Patriotic Digital Paper Pack and the God Bless America sentiment.  Both of these items can be found at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  You'll notice that this week I didn't use an image - just the digital papers and the sentiment.  I did outline the stars and border using Spica glitter pens.

You can join in the Celebration challenge by linking your project to the Delightful Challenges blog.
I can't wait to see what you're celebrating.
