Always Fun Challenge #64 ~ Fun at the Beach

Hi Crafty Friends,

We're having FUN AT THE BEACH for Always Fun Challenge #64.

I used Jaded Blossom dies to create this 8 x 8 layout.

All of the elements were cut using my Gemini Jr.  All I added was a little inking.

I hope you've been visiting the Always Fun Challenges blog each week to play along and also see some great crafty creations from our design team members.

Two Scoops of Fun

Hi Crafty Friends,

It my day to post over on the Paper Crafting World Blog.

I create4d another one page layout using two cut files from Paper Crafting World.

I love the cut files that are titles - so easy to cut out and assemble.  I knew the layout needed a little something more so I added a bear file I had.  It's the Bear with Popsicle cut file but I made extra ice cream cones from the Two Scoops title file and then gave the bear a cone rather than a popsicle!!

The background papers are from Doodlebug Designs and the cut files were all cut from American Crafts Heavy Weight card stock - cuts so well using the Silhouette.

You can find these files by visiting Paper Crafting World (link above) and you can also find some amazing projects created by our artist/designer/leader/blog owner, Melin by visiting her personal blog,  My Paper Crafting.

Thanks for stopping in today.

Splash!

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's my day on the Paper Crafting World blog.

I'd like to share a fun summer layout.

Isn't this great for that perfect pool or day at the beach picture?  I love the wavy overlay and the title is so perfect.  You can find the Splash Layout set HERE.

I used AC Cardstock and Doodlebug Design.  I find these brands cut so easily with the Silhouette.

A Layout!

Hi Crafty Friends,

I know, I know, you thought I only made cards!  Well there are those times when I do create a simple page layout (emphasis on simple).
It's my turn to share on the Paper Crafting World design team blog and I chose this fun page layout cut file from Paper Crafting World called "Sweet Summer Title".

Here's my 12 x 12 layout.

I cut the file on my Silhouette (it was already sized to fit a 12 x 12 layout) and just added the mat for a 4x6 photo and then tore the edge of some tan paper to make the sand - easy peasy.  I've had the background paper for ages so I can't even tell you the manufacturer.

Thanks for stopping in today.

Fall Fun

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's my day to post on the Paper Crafting World design team blog.

Today I'm sharing a fall layout.  I don't often make layouts since I'm primarily a card maker, but this adorable file made it pretty easy.
I've used the FALL FUN CROWS layout CF from Paper Crafting World.

I must apologize for the picture quality.  It was a really dreary day so there was no place to photograph the layout to get a good picture.

Everything was cut on my Silhouette.  I just added a little inking and a torn paper bottom border.  Except for the photo mats, everything else is in the cut file - LOVE IT!

Thanks for stopping in today.  I hope autumn has finally come to your town.

Lucky 2 Have U

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's my day to post for the Paper Crafting World design team blog.
Today I have a 12 x 12 page layout for you.  It's all ready for a special St. Patrick's Day photo.

I love Authentique patterned papers.  The clover and dots are back to back on one piece.

The first Paper Crafting World cut file I used is Lucky 2 Have U title.
I cut it on my Silhouette and then added Hero Arts pearls and Yellow Wink of Stella.

This adorable little guy is Bear - St. Patty CF.   I cut his shirt using patterned paper and then added some highlights with my Micro and Signo Gel pens.  I love his pearl buttons!

Thank you for visiting today.

For Your January Memory

Hi Crafty Friends,

Happy New Year!
It's my turn to post for Paper Crafting World
.
Today I'm sharing a single page layout using the January Calendar Page.  I don't often do layouts but I love the simplicity of the this one.  I think it's really versatile.  I've made it a page layout, but it could also be a Planner page.  The cuts fit perfectly on an 8.5 x 11 page as well as this 12 x 12. It was originally designed to be a calendar page - so many ways to use the cuts.

The papers are from Echo Park - such yummy colors!  I decided to use circle punches to create mats for the snowflakes.  They showed up better on the patterned papers.  The snowflakes cut beautifully on my Silhouette.  I used VersaMark and embossed each one with Holographic embossing powder.  I have always loved adding corners so this file is perfect.

PCW is starting up the monthly challenge again.  The theme is Anything Goes with the twist of Snow or Snowflakes.  I hope you'll join in the fun.  Just click the challenge link on my sidebar.

Thanks for stopping by.  Here's to a healthy and happy New Year.
