Wonderful, Beautiful YOU!
It's my design team day on the Paper Crafting World Design Team Blog.
I have been wanting to try water coloring with Distress Inks and I found the perfect Paper Crafting World image on which to try.
Here's my project using the Wonderful Beautiful You Digital Printable stamp image.
I just smeared Distress Inks onto an acrylic block, dipped my brush in water and then the ink and began to paint. I also used a water brush to help blend the colors.
The papers are from a K & Co stack I had in my stash. The sentiment is a part of the Digital Printable set. All I added was some American Crafts ribbon, and Queen&Co and Doodlebug Designs adhesive flowers and dots.

Cherry Blossoms
It's my day on the Paper Crafting World Blog.
I want to share a pretty card I made using the
Cherry Blossom Lattice CF from Paper Crafting World.
I duplicated then flipped one of the card shadows so I could weld them to make a shape card base. I also adjusted the size so that this card is an A2. The lattice cut so perfectly on my Silhouette. After cutting all the pieces, I inked the branch and blossom tips, added some Signo white gel pen, then shaped the blossoms and added pearls. All of the papers are from my stash as is the ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Birthday Wishes
Here's my second post for today!!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and that your plans for the day didn't get rained out.
We've had so much rain in northern California. We actually reached a record high for annual rainfall!
I'm really ready for more than two sunny days in a row LOL.
It's my day at Paper Crafting World.
I used the Birthday Wishes cut file to make this card for a special friend.
The file would be great for a page title but I just sized it down to make this 5 x 7 card.
I cut everything using my Silhouette then added some sequins, twine, and a little glitter to the flame.
Be sure to head over to the store to take advantage of this great sale.

Love and Sunflowers
Today is my design team day on the Paper Crafting World blog.
I'm sharing a card that I made for a country wedding. The bride loves red, white and blue, checkered plaid, bandanna print, and sunflowers. This cut file from Paper Crafting World let me fill the bill!
I used American Craft and Paper Studio Yee Haw patterned papers and plain card stock from my stash. The cut file is Card Daisies Sundflowers N Pennants. I cut everything using my Silhouette. The stamp is a Crafter's Companion cling set called Words of Wonder set 2. I used Powder Puff chalk ink to stamp and also to shade the flowers, leaves, and mats.
Thanks so much for stopping in today.

Love Me, Love Me Not
It's my day to post on the Paper Crafting World blog.
I am so ready for spring, how about you?
Today I'm sharing a cute little digi file that can be for spring, Easter, or just to say, "I love you."
This file is Bunny, He Loves Me DS which can be found in the
Paper Crafting World store. Just click the link to go directly to the file.
Everything used on this card is from my craft stash. The pattern paper is a scrap from Authentique. The "love" is a chippie from Make It Crafty. I love these because you can color them so easily with Copic markers so that they match your design. The filigree flower is a LaLa Land die. And, of course, I colored with Copic Markers.
Thanks for stopping in today. Please visit the PCW store for your spring and Easter cut file and digi projects. There are so many to choose from.

You're So Cool!
Today is my day to post on the Paper Crafting World design team blog.
We've had so much rain and snow in Northern California that I think we're all ready to start thinking about summer and summer treats. Of course, in my book, anytime is the right time for ice cream so this little treat holder would work year-round for me.
I've used the Ice Cream Cone Box CF from Paper Crafting World and cut it out using my Silhouette.
I added "sprinkles" using Nuvo Crystal Drops and a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Ice Cream Kit stamps set stamped on one of JB's Dimensional Banner dies.
Wouldn't it be fun to fill this little box with goodies to top your ice cream sundae?
Thanks for dropping by!

Have a Scrumptious Birthday!
It's my design team day on the Paper Crafting World blog.
Today I'm sharing another Paper Crafting World Digital Stamp file.
Today's project uses the Bear with Cupcake n Sprinkles.
I used paper from a Crafter's Companion 6 x 6 stack that I ordered from HSN. I also used several Jaded Blossom Die sets: Card Mat Dies, Stitched Circle Dies, Scallop Circle Dies, and Bow Dies along with JB's stamp set, Hello Cupcake.
I colored using Copic Markers and some gel pens for the sprinkles.
If you love coloring BEARS, PCW has three pages of digital stamps featuring BEARS for almost every occasion.

Happy Bird Day to You!
It's my design team day for Paper Crafting World.
I spent several years designing for Melin's Digi team so it's always fun to pick one of her cute digi files "for old time's sake!"
I chose the Toucan Happy Bird Day DS file for today's project. It's such a happy image and so much fun to color.
I used Copic markers for the image and gel pens for the sentiment (comes with the file.)
I used a Martha Stewart cupcake border punch and the balloon bottom border die from Jaded Blossom's Border Dies 2. I also used JB's Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut our the image. Some baker's twine and several sequins finished the card.
Thanks so much for stopping in today.

Happy Mail
I hope you had a wonderful holiday and that this New Year brings lots of joy to you and yours.
It's my turn to share a project on the Paper Crafting World blog.
I can't believe it's time to start thinking of Valentine's Day projects but it will be here before you know it. Paper Crafting World has a lot of Valentine files to whet your crafty appetite. I chose a new file which is a 3 D Mailbox.
This will make such a cute treat box but you could also put tiny Valentine notes in the box.
I made it into a shaker box by using Jaded Blossom stitched rectangle dies to cut a shaker window and frame. I used my Fuse tool to make the shaker pocket. I also cut out one of the sides and added a frame for the heat embossed sentiment. The added cutouts are from a K&Company set of chipboard icons that I've had in my stash for a long time. I also die cut the word, MAIL from Jaded Blossom Alphabet Dies to add to the front of the box. The patterned papers are from Pink Paisley. I like the non-traditional Valentine look of them.
Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check the design team blog to see more design team projects.

Always Grateful
It's my design team day on the Paper Crafting World blog.
For my project I combined two cut files from Paper Crafting World to make a Thanksgiving treat box.
I used the Always Grateful Title cut file for the sign that this cute squirrel is holding. The Squirrel treat box is a Pazzles Craft Room exclusive. In the original file the squirrel is holding acorns and there's an acorn handle but I think the sign is a cute substitution, especially if the project is used as a Thanksgiving table favor.
The two files were cut using my Silhouette. I added a little inking and Signo white gel pen accents. I also glittered the leaves using Wink of Stella.
Thanks for visiting me today. Be sure to visit Paper Crafting World for a wonderful selection of seasonal and holiday cut files and print and cuts.

Fall Fun
It's my day to post on the Paper Crafting World design team blog.
Today I'm sharing a fall layout. I don't often make layouts since I'm primarily a card maker, but this adorable file made it pretty easy.
I've used the FALL FUN CROWS layout CF from Paper Crafting World.
I must apologize for the picture quality. It was a really dreary day so there was no place to photograph the layout to get a good picture.
Everything was cut on my Silhouette. I just added a little inking and a torn paper bottom border. Except for the photo mats, everything else is in the cut file - LOVE IT!
Thanks for stopping in today. I hope autumn has finally come to your town.

Harvest Blessings
It's my turn to post on the Paper Crafting World blog.
We are welcoming a beautiful fall morning here in northern California which is much appreciated after last week's heat wave! I love the colors of fall so choosing papers to create fall projects is always a joy.
Today I'm using the Acorns N Leaves cut file from Paper Crafting World. I used papers from my stash and cut everything on the Silhouette. I just did some inking on the edges, rolled and curled the leaves and added a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Happy Fall stamp set.
Thanks for stopping in today.

Fall is in the Air??
Today is my posting day at Paper Crafting World.
Is Fall in the air? Although tomorrow is September 1, it's still quite hot here in Northern CA. I am looking forward to fall and finally turning off the AC. It's that time of year when the colors change, the weather changes - it just makes me happy!
My card today reflects the changing of the season. It was quick and easy to cut and assemble and with the right choice of papers, I think it looks great.
I used the Card with Tag and Leaves cut file from the Paper Crafting World store. All of the papers are from my fall stash box. A little inking, a bow, some sequins and foam dimensions and I called it finished. The letters are from Jaded Blossoms Alphabet Dies.
Be sure to visit the store for you Fall cut files, digital stamps, and print and cuts.

Dad Fixes Everything!
I got to thinking of all the wonderful things my hubby does for me and our daughters. Sometimes I worry that we don't show our appreciation enough so I decided that a thank you card didn't have to wait for Father's Day to let him know how much he means to us.
I love this cut file from Paper Crafting World. It's Card Dad Fixes Everything which comes in both cut file and printable form. It was so easy to cut and assemble.
I cut it on my Silhouette and die cut the label to add the "thank you" stamp. The die and stamp are from Jaded Blossom. All the papers are from my scrap folders.
Paper Crafting World has such a large variety of cut files, digital stamp images, and print and cuts. Be sure to check out the store by clicking the link above.

Let Your Sparkle Shine
It's my turn to post for Paper Crafting World.
Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made for a special friend. She's not really girly-girly so I thought the cut file I chose along with papers were suited for her tastes. She does love sparkle, however, so I definitely had to bring that element into the design.
I used the Friend in Me Card cut file. I swapped out the flowers in the original file for these rolled roses found in the Rolled Scalloped Rose 3D file. The patterned papers are from a 6 x 6 pad called Sassafrass. I added Stickles to the flower edges, Doodlebug Designs sparkle sprinkles and stamped a sentiment from Jaded Blossoms's Superstar set.
Be sure to visit the Paper Crafting World store for some more fabulous files.

Fairy Garden
Hi Crafty Friends,
My turn to post for Paper Crafting World.
I decided to use a few new products and techniques on my card.
I started with the Butterfly Fairy CF set. When I imported the file into my Silhouette, I made a few changes. First, I separated the wings from the fairy. Then I duplicated the butterflies so I could stack them and finally I duplicated and flipped the flowers so I would have a longer row. I did not separate the pieces into like-colors because I decided to use everything as a print and cut. I sent everything to my printer and then cut the pieces on the Scan N Cut2 (the SNC really makes cutting printed images easy peasy.)
Once I had all my pieces, I got busy with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens and added wonderful glittery shine to almost everything.
I popped up the image on the wings and folded up the butterfly wings for more dimension. I also added a bit of rick rack and lace from my stash. I framed the fairy using Jade Blossom Scallop Dies and added Nuvo Crystal drops all around. A little highlighting with my Prisma Water Color pencils and Tombow blender and I called it finished. It's a little different style and technique for me but I had fun using more of my machines and supplies.
You can find the Butterfly Fairy Cut File Set HERE.
Thanks for taking a look. Be sure to visit the Paper Crafting World store for your cut file, paper piecing and digital stamp needs - so many adorable files to choose from.
