The Merry Christmas Challenge #44

Hi Crafty Friends,

I hope you've been finding lots of Christmas inspiration from the weekly posts on
The Merry Christmas Challenge blog.

For my team post, I'm sharing a wine tag I made for my daughter's holiday gift giving.
Actually, I made her and entire set but this one is for Christmas.

This is a great project to use your scraps on!  The wine tag base is from the
Silhouette Design Store.  I think it's the Balloons tag - I just left off the balloons and added a Sizzix branch from a thinlits set.  I also added some Nuvo Chrystal Drops "berries", a sentiment tag and jute bow.  I think it will be a great addition to her wine gifts.

I hope you're sharing your holiday ideas.  Just follow the link above to join in the fun.

Always Fun Challenge #32 ~ Pumpkins

Hi Crafty Friends,

For Always Fun Challenge #32 we'd like to see your pumpkins!

Here's my project.

I LOVE this patterned paper set, Happy Fall by Carta Bella.  I decided to frame the pumpkins using Jaded Blossom Stitched Rectangle dies.  The sentiment is from JB's Fall Signs.
The pumpkins are from La-La Land Crafts (the set also comes with faces).  I added some Nuvo Chrystal Drops around the frame and a jute bow.

Follow the link above to join in this week's challenge.

My Besties International Challenge ~ Reminder

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's the 15th of the month so it's time to remind you that there is still time to enter our
My Besties International Challenge.

This month's optional theme is FRIENDSHIP.
You may use any image by any artist so I'll hope you'll join in the fun.

Here's my project using Star Dust Mermaid.

I colored using Copic markers and added some La-La Land Crafts die cuts.  They are exclusive to this month's Club Kit.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom Mermaid Kisses.
After fussy cutting the image, I cut out a Scalloped Oval using tulle (it worked!) to use as a mat.
I added some Spectrum Noir Sparkle to the die cuts and Nuvo clear Crystal Drops for the sea creatures bubbles.

Thanks for visiting.

Fairy Garden

Hi Crafty Friends,

My turn to post for Paper Crafting World.

I decided to use a few new products and techniques on my card.

I started with the Butterfly Fairy CF set.  When I imported the file into my Silhouette, I made a few changes.  First, I separated the wings from the fairy.  Then I duplicated the butterflies so I could stack them and finally I duplicated and flipped the flowers so I would have a longer row.  I did not separate the pieces into like-colors because I decided to use everything as a print and cut.  I sent everything to my printer and then cut the pieces on the Scan N Cut2 (the SNC really makes cutting printed images easy peasy.)

Once I had all my pieces,  I got busy with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens and added wonderful glittery shine to almost everything.

I popped up the image on the wings and folded up the butterfly wings for more dimension.  I also added a bit of rick rack and lace from my stash.  I framed the fairy using Jade Blossom Scallop Dies and added Nuvo Crystal drops all around.  A little highlighting with my Prisma Water Color pencils and Tombow blender and I called it finished.  It's a little different style and technique for me but I had fun using more of my machines and supplies.

You can find the Butterfly Fairy Cut File Set HERE.

Thanks for taking a look.  Be sure to visit the Paper Crafting World store for your cut file, paper piecing and digital stamp needs - so many adorable files to choose from.
