Jaded Blossom August Release ~ Day 4

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's our final Jaded Blossom sneak peek for the August Release.
Be sure to come back tomorrow for our Design Team Blog Hop.
The entire release will be available in the Jaded Blossom store at midnight tonight!

Here's my project using the final stamp set in our release.

For this fun little notepad cover, I used my Gemini Jr. to emboss the 80s Stencil using Color Core card stock and then sanded it to reveal the stencil.  I cut the glasses using glitter card stock and then layered them onto chip board cut outs to add dimension. Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens were used to make the sentiment pop and add sparkle to the background. Finally, I colored the images using Copic markers.
Jaded Blossom products used:
80s Icons (NEW)
Glasses Dies (NEW)
Love the 80s (NEW)
80s Stencil (NEW)
Kawaii 80s (NEW)

Here's today's final reveal.

And, in case you missed them, here are all of my reveal projects.

Hope to see you tomorrow ♥

Cut it Up Challenge # 162

Hi Crafty Friends,

We're celebrating World Hello Day at Cut it Up Challenge Blog.
This theme can be wide open to YOUR interpretation!!

I chose an image from our challenge sponsor, A Day for Daisies, called
Christmas Tree Time.

I just love this image!  I raided my die cut stash for the sentiment and star, both by LaLa Land Crafts, and then colored the image using Copic Markers and Spectrum Noir Sparkle for the stars.

I hope you'll join in our challenge.  Remember to use a die cut!

Only Princesses Wear Pink

Hi Crafty Friends,

My October project for Paper Crafting World is an Awareness reminder and also a message of hope.

I've used the Bear Princess Sitting DS file from Paper Crafting World which comes with the sentiment and pre colored images as well as the line art.

I colored using Copic markers and added Spectrum Noir Sparkle glitter pen to the crown and ribbons.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month but please remember that many, many people are battling other forms of cancer and need your support as well.

Thanks for visiting.

Dear Santa, I Can Explain!

Hi Crafty Friends,

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Challenge #16 is open at Delightful Challenges.
For my project I used the Reindeer Cuties Clipart set from
Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

The sentiment is from the Winter Fun Sentiment set.
After importing the file into my Silhouette software, I added an offset and then print and cut the image and offset separately so that I could pop the reindeer onto the offset for a little dimension.  I added Spectrum Noir Sparkle glitter to the lights and Glossy Accents to the eyes.  The sentiment mat is a stitched rectangle die from Jaded Blossom.  The sequins are from Jillibean.

Here is what the Cutie file includes:

I hope you'll play along with us.  You have 3 weeks to enter.  Just click the Challenge link above.

Have a great day!!

Summer Memories

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's time for Cut it Up Challenge Blog's Challenge #102.
For this challenge, we're asking you to share "Summer Memories."  Be sure to include at least one die cut on your project.
I'm sharing a card using an image from Digital Delights by Louby Loo, our challenge sponsor.
The image is Beach Babe Scottie colored with Copic Markers.  I used die cuts from Jaded Blossom's Tropical Dies set and a sentiment created from JB's Picture This 2 stamp set.  Finally, I added some sparkle using Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens, and some shine on his glasses using Glossy Accents.
The sparkle gems are Doodlebug Designs glitter sparkles.
Come on over to the CIU blog and join in our fun.

Fairy Garden

Hi Crafty Friends,

My turn to post for Paper Crafting World.

I decided to use a few new products and techniques on my card.

I started with the Butterfly Fairy CF set.  When I imported the file into my Silhouette, I made a few changes.  First, I separated the wings from the fairy.  Then I duplicated the butterflies so I could stack them and finally I duplicated and flipped the flowers so I would have a longer row.  I did not separate the pieces into like-colors because I decided to use everything as a print and cut.  I sent everything to my printer and then cut the pieces on the Scan N Cut2 (the SNC really makes cutting printed images easy peasy.)

Once I had all my pieces,  I got busy with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens and added wonderful glittery shine to almost everything.

I popped up the image on the wings and folded up the butterfly wings for more dimension.  I also added a bit of rick rack and lace from my stash.  I framed the fairy using Jade Blossom Scallop Dies and added Nuvo Crystal drops all around.  A little highlighting with my Prisma Water Color pencils and Tombow blender and I called it finished.  It's a little different style and technique for me but I had fun using more of my machines and supplies.

You can find the Butterfly Fairy Cut File Set HERE.

Thanks for taking a look.  Be sure to visit the Paper Crafting World store for your cut file, paper piecing and digital stamp needs - so many adorable files to choose from.

Happy Heart Day

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today is the start of Clear it Out Challenge #103.  The challenge is "Loving You " and the twist is red and white ribbon or twine.  This challenge is sponsored by Robyn's Fetish who provided my image, Christie Angel.

I colored Christie with Copic markers and added sparkly accents with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.  The sentiment is from my sentiment stash and the hearts are from Hero Arts.  I used a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle for the mat.

Head on over to Clear it Out to join in our new challenge.
