Pearly Sparkles November Challenge ~ Merry Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time to share the last challenge of 2022 at Pearly Sparkles
The entire team will be back on January 1, 2023 with the start of a new challenge year.

The theme for our last challenge of 2022 is Merry Christmas.

I went with a wintery color palette for this card using papers from Echo Park's Winter 6x6 Mega pad.

I used Jaded Blossom's Sunburst Card Mat die so I actually had enough background die cuts for 3 cards.  the bells are from Jaded Blossom's Christmas 2 set and I embellished with JB's Bow Dies.  I enjoy making lots of different cards for the holidays but it never hurts to have a few multiples on hand.

I hope you'll play along with our last challenge of 2023 and, of course, join us again in January.

Merry Christmas (first time I've said that!).

Have a Beary Merry Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have another cute, quick project using clipart from Last Minute Manda.

Today's card features one of the designs and sentiments from the Bentley Christmas clipart set.
This time I used the Print and Cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo 4.

I also used the Scallop Card Mat die from Avery Elle and the little holly adornment from the Gnome: Christmas Add Ons set from Jaded Blossom.
The shaker element adds a little sparkle and fun.

You can find all of Manda's clipart HERE.

Until next time,

New Medium, New Team!!

Hi Crafty Friends,

I'm so excited to announce that I have joined another design team.  I am now a member of the
Last Minute Manda team.  Manda creates really fun digital designs and clipart.

As a design team member, I'm doing something new design-wise by featuring her CLIPART.
If you don't enjoy painting or coloring, or you don't have a cutting machine, Clipart is the medium for you since it's pre-colored. The images come in a transparent PNG format. When you unzip the files, you can import the images into Word (or your go-to publishing program) to resize and then print on your printer.  I printed mine then cut them out using the Scan N Cut.  But, if you don't have a cutting machine the images are simple enough to fussy cut.  You can also import the files into your Silhouette software to edit, then print and cut.  They are really quite versatile.

Manda's clipart can be found HERE and you can find her digital designs HERE.

Right now I'm concentrating on Christmas cards.  My mailing list quite large so I need a lot.  These clipart images make it so quick to create unique cards with just some patterned papers and the clipart.  Of course you can embellish to your heart's content but for now I'm favoring SIMPLE.

Here are 3 cards using images from the Chubbies Winter Costume set.

The sentiments are from Jaded Blossom.  The papers are from Echo Park's 6x6 Mega Christmas pads.

I'm adding my link to the BYSHCardmakers Linky Party.

I'll be posting for Last Minute Manda every Tuesday.  I hope you'll follow along with my journey into the Clipart World!!

Hi Crafty Friends,

The Cut it Up challenge for this time is Halloween.

Our sponsor, DRS Designs provided the image for my card.

I used Neenah Desert Sand for the image and used Prisma pencils for the colored highlights.
The cute little spooky die cuts are from Lala Land Crafts.  It was a quick and easy card to assemble.

Here's a link to the stamp I used: Halloween Crow/Witch Frame - 670H - DRS Designs

This Way to Santa

 Hi Crafty Friends,

It's my day to post on the Jaded Blossom Blog.

Today I'd to share to slimline Christmas scene that I designed for my holiday card sending.

I created the background using the Cloud Stencil inking with Picket Fence Distress Ink on blue card stock.  Then I sprayed it with Altenew Pure White Ink Spray which I also used on the die cut trees.  The sentiments on the signpost are heat embossed to make them stand out from the patterned paper I used to stamp on.

Here are the products I used:
(Be sure to sign up for Restock Notifications)

There are so many amazing Jaded Blossom Christmas stamps and dies.  I hope you've begun your holiday cardmaking.

Cut it Up Challenge Blog ~ Sponsorship Thank You Post

Hi Crafty Friends,

Every year our Cut it Up team is supported by some wonderful sponsors who provide prizes for our challenges and often product for the team to use.

We would like to honor and thank our wonderful sponsors with this post

I have made cards that will be sent to two of our sponsors: The Cutting Cafe and Your Next Stamp.

To thank Regina Easter at The Cutting Cafe, I used her THANKS shaped card SVG file.

I used my Silhouette 4 to cut the 3 layers used to create this shape card.  The sentiment strip is from Jaded Blossom's Thank You sentiment set.  I added some K & Company stickers that I've had in my stash.

My second card is for Your Next Stamp (YNS).  I created a stamped and stenciled background and placed a die cut sentiment on top.  The adorable image is from YNS' Birthday Song stamp set.

.  Be sure to visit the CIU blog to see all of DT projects and the full list of sponsors.
