Patriotic Theme at Open-Minded Crafting Fun

Today is my final post for the Open-Minded Crafting Fun design team.  It's been a wonderful term and I've loved being able to use so many different images from some amazing digital artists.  I hope you'll continue to follow OMCF and the new design team - they share such a wide variety of digital images and styles - so much fun.
My image sponsor for this Patriotic challenge is Beansie Doodle.  I've chosen the Super Hero Mystical Maxine image.
I think Maxine is ready to take on anyone who messes with the USA!
The papers are Authentique.  I used a Sizzix die for the scalloped oval and a punch for the stars.  I hand cut the flag banners and colored the image with Copics.
We have four sponsors for this week's challenge which means you have four chances to win.  Just link your Patriotic creation to Open-Minded Crafting Fun.

I'd like to thank Susan and Vicky for allowing me to design for this amazing challenge blog.  These two ladies are so dedicated and organized - it's been a pleasure being on their inaugural team.  I wish you continued success with OMCF!!!

Baseball Bear

Hello Crafty Friends,

For the Catch a Wave Blog Hop, click HERE

Time for Challenge #9 at Open-Minded Crafting Fun.  This challenge is about sports or activities.  We have four different sponsors who have provided our images.
My image - Baseball Bear - comes from Stitchy Bear Images.
Isn't he just so cute?  I found the paper at my local scrapbook store.  It's by Splash of Color with the accent piece from Authentique.  The stars were punched and the buttons from my stash.  I colored Baseball Bear with Copic markers.
Be sure to head to Open-Minded Crafting Fun so see more projects from Stitchy Bear along with our other three sponsors.  If you enter, you'll have 4 chances to win.  And, did you know that following each challenge, the design team members each select their favorite projects from those that are entered.  These are featured on the blog the Saturday following the close of the challenge.  We've had some amazing projects shared and appreciate the many participants.

Piggy Dreams

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

It's time for challenge #8 at Open-Minded Crafting Fun.  Wow!  Our 8th challenge already.  We've had such wonderful participation.  I hope you've been joining in the fun.  Remember, there are at least four sponsors for every challenge which means you have at least four chances win!

My sponsor image is from 2 Cute ink.  This sweet little image is called Piggy Dreams, just perfect for our Easter or Pastel Colors challenge.

I've used papers from DCWV Nana's Baby stack, ribbon from my stash (purchased at our local flea market) and clear dots.  The flourish was sent to me by a dear crafting friend who keeps me supplied in delightful die cuts (thanks Sandy).

I colored the image with Copic markers.  I tried a little bit different background.  After using B0000 to bring out the focal image, I masked the image and added the subtle dots that I had punched in the mask.

Here's a list of our challenge #8 sponsors:
