Jaded Blossom February Challenge ~ Monochromatic

Hi Crafty Friends,
This month's challenge theme at is MONOCHROMATIC.  It's a fun challenge, one in which I let the paper selection guide my design.

The coordinating papers are from an Echo Park 6x6 stack.

Cut it Up Challenge #270 ~ LOVE

Hi Crafty Friends,
Time for another challenge at Cut it Up.
The challenge theme is LOVE and I have to say how much I "love" the amazing response we've had to our first non-sponsored post of the new year!  Thank you all who took the time to share your projects with us.
I'm using an Altenew 3D embossing folder and two die cuts from LaLa Land Crafts for my card.

I used Neenah Solar White Heavy paper for this project.  I wanted the embossing to be deep and I wanted the sentiment to pop even though it's white on white.  I just had to add a touch of color so I used a red glimmer card stock.  I also cut the sentiment 3 times and stacked them for a little more dimension.

Passionate Paper Creations & Friends ~ Stampendous Sponsorship

Here's my project using the Bee My Honey set.

I inserted several of the images into Word and then arranged them to create this little scene.  I printed on Copic-friendly paper and then colored using Copic markers.  I thought it would be fun to insert the honeycomb die into the frame and add the cute little bees.  The dies are from LaLa Land Crafts.

Cut it Up Challenge #245 ~ Love / Valentine

Hi Crafty Friends,
We have a new challenge for you at Cut it Up Challenges.We're celebrating LOVE (and/or) Valentine's Day.
I used a cut file from our sponsor, The Cutting Cafe, to make this slimline card.

I love the heart cutout cover but thought it would be fun to have the hearts coming out of the clouds, so   I added two cloud die cuts from Jaded Blossom along with the love die cut sentiment.  I used the hearts that were cut out of the cover mat to decorate the inside.  This was such a quick card to make and sometimes those are the best when you want to send handmade cards but have a lot on your crafty desk.

Jaded Blossom's February Challenge ~ Use Kraft Card Stock

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's time for a new challenge at Jaded Blossom.
Along with a Jaded Blossom product, we're asking you to use Kraft paper on your project.I love the look of Kraft and have found that using ink, Prisma pencils, or Copics are all mediums that work well.
For my project I used stenciling with Distress Oxides and coloring with Copics on Neenah Desert Storm card stock.

Pearly Sparkles ~ January 2020 ~ Anything Goes

Hi Crafty Friends, Happy New Year!!! Our first challenge of the New Year at Pearly Sparkles is ANYTHING GOES. I love making cards for my relatives and special friends.  I shared a wedding card that I made for a young woman that we've known since she was little.  Today I'm sharing the shower card I made her. Once again, I tried to include the things that were meaningful to her, succulents, Indian lore, outdoors.

All of the dies except the bracket die are from La-La Land Crafts.  I also used two LLLC background stamps to create the patterned papers.  I colored the succulents using Prisma Colored pencils. The design of the card was inspired by a card from Irina Blount for a La-La Land Crafts Make n Take held at our local store, Memories for the Making.
