Tea Time?

Hi Crafty Friends,

We have such a fun theme at Cut it Up Challenge Blog today.  For challenge #114 we're thinking wonderful winter HOT DRINKS!  I really followed the rules on this one.  Since it's required to follow the theme and use a DIE CUT, I used  a bunch!!!  Take a look.

LOL, I love metal dies so I was going through all my sets (ya know, that point where you've got to explore because you've honestly forgotten what all you have?)  I'm usually pretty CAS, but I thought it would be fun to break out of that mold and add touches here and there.

Here's what I've used:
Jaded Blossom:  Word dies - cut out of toner paper and foiled, Scalloped Rectangle Dies
Memory Box:  heart
Sizzix: tea pot and cup
QuicKutz:  crate
Spellbinders:  fancy labels, cut in half

Some flowers, leaves, ribbon and ink to add a few extra touches.

Thanks for stopping in.  You can join our challenge by linking your HOT DRINK project above.

Delightful Challenge #18

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time for the first Delightful Challenge of the New Year!

For challenge #18 I used Digital Delights by Louby Loo's
January Cupcake.  Did you know there is a cupcake image for every month of the year?  You need to check them all out.

Along with coloring with Copic Markers and Sakura Gel Pens, I've also used Jaded Blossom's Stitched Rectangle Dies and Border Dies 2.  The ribbon is crinkle ribbon that I made myself.

I hope you'll join in our Anything Goes Challenge.  Just click the Challenge link above or on my sidebar.  You have 3 weeks to enter for a chance to win a credit voucher to the Digital Delights store.  One lucky crafter will also be selected to post as a guest designer on March 30.

Happy Bird Day to You!

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's my design team day for Paper Crafting World.

I spent several years designing for Melin's Digi team so it's always fun to pick one of her cute digi files "for old time's sake!"

I chose the Toucan Happy Bird Day DS file for today's project.  It's such a happy image and so much fun to color.

I used Copic markers for the image and gel pens for the sentiment (comes with the file.)
I used a Martha Stewart cupcake border punch and the balloon bottom border die from Jaded Blossom's Border Dies 2.  I also used JB's Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut our the image.  Some baker's twine and several sequins finished the card.

Thanks so much for stopping in today.

Happy Mail

Hi Crafty Friends,

I hope you had a wonderful holiday and that this New Year brings lots of joy to you and yours.
It's my turn to share a project on the Paper Crafting World blog.

I can't believe it's time to start thinking of Valentine's Day projects but it will be here before you know it.  Paper Crafting World has a lot of Valentine files to whet your crafty appetite.  I chose a new file which is a 3 D Mailbox.

This will make such a cute treat box but you could also put tiny Valentine notes in the box.
I made it into a shaker box by using Jaded Blossom stitched rectangle dies to cut a shaker window and frame.  I used my Fuse tool to make the shaker pocket.  I also cut out one of the sides and added a frame for the heat embossed sentiment.  The added cutouts are from a K&Company set of chipboard icons that I've had in my stash for a long time.  I also die cut the word, MAIL from Jaded Blossom Alphabet Dies to add to the front of the box.  The patterned papers are from Pink Paisley.  I like the non-traditional Valentine look of them.

Thanks for stopping by.  Be sure to check the design team blog to see more design team projects.

Out with the Old, In with the New

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time to say good bye to 2016 and I have the perfect Digital Delights by Louby Loo image to say farewell.  Challenge #112 at Cut it Up Challenge Blog is sponsored by Digital Delights and the theme is Out with Old, In with the New.

The "good bye" sentiment is computer generated.  My OLD supplies include the patterned papers from Paper Studio's Eat Cake stack, and my Jaded Blossom Stitched Rectangle dies (oh, and my Copic markers).  The "Celebrate" word die and shadow is new from Neat and Tangled and the "curly border" die is new from Taylored Expressions.

Come on over to Cut it Up and share your new crafty goodies by joining Challenge #112.

Digital Delights by Louby Loo is offering a $5 voucher as the prize for this challenge.

Happy New Year!!!!!

Delightful Challenge #17

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's the 4th Thursday of the month so time for another Delightful Challenge sponsored by
Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

I've made a gift tag to celebrate the New Year.  It would be perfect to add to any hostess gift you're sharing.  I've used the pre colored version of New Year Baby Snow.

Funny story:  I had a different image and it was all laid out and ready to color.  Then I realized that the image said 2016!!!  Oops, that wasn't going to work so I quickly downloaded the pre colored version of Baby Snow and my project was saved.

I used Jaded Blossom's newest die sets, Scalloped Hexagons, Stitched Hexagons, and Words to create my tag.  I cut two words and off set them to make them pop a little more.

Thanks for stopping in today. I hope you'll play along with our challenge by adding  your project using the link above.

Wishing you a Very Happy New Year 2017!!

Jaded Blossom Guest Designer

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I have the privilege of being one of Jaded Blossom's December Guest Designers.
I am a HUGE fan of all of JB's Dies and Stamps (yes, you can say I'm a definite groupie!)
I wanted to make a Christmas scene for my project.  Here's what I designed:
Jaded Blossom Dies used:
Christmas Dies 2
Scenic Dies
Border Dies 2
Jaded Blossom Stamps used:
Christmas Panels
Holiday Splatter
I also used Black Detail embossing powder, VersaMagic Chalk ink and some sequins.
Thank you Michelle and Candace.  It was so much fun choosing just the right JB products to bring my idea to life.  I'm so happy to have been chosen as one of your Guest Designers.

Holiday Secret Santa Treats Blog Hop

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I'm participating in a joint blog hop presented by the Cut It Up and Die Cuttin' Divas design teams.

Welcome to this co-hop with Die Cuttin’ Diva and Cut It Up. We are so glad that you are joining us today and super excited to share our inspiration with you.

We have a line-up of DT members from both teams sharing Holiday Treats and we are hoping you enjoy them all. Our teams even had to play Secret Santa and send their project to a fellow team member as a surprise. It's all about the joy of giving this holiday season!

How about some prizes?
Georgiana is offering a surprise goodie pack.  And there is more blog candy being offered along the way.

Secret Santa's Rules…
1. Make sure you are a follower on each stop along this hop.
2. Leave a comment on each project and you will be entered to win one of the prizes.

Prize winners will be announced on Tuesday, December 13th.

I created my project for Katrina on the Cut it Up team.
I hope she enjoys this hot chocolate and treats gift.  I sure had fun creating it for her.

The hot chocolate holder is a Silhouette Design store file.  The Arched Handle box holding the "goodies" is from SVG Cutting Files.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut both files.  The patterned paper is from Carta Bella's Christmas Delivery set.  I also used Jaded Blossom Fall Dies (sign),  Mini Tag Dies 2, Winter Dies (snowflakes), Sweet Treats and Christmas Signs stamp sets.

Your next stop is... Leslie

If you get lost along the way, here is the line-up....
Larelyn (you're here!)
