Our theme at Delightful Challenges is KEEP IT SIMPLE.
I love the CAS style - it's pretty much my go-to style when designing.
For today's project I used Sad Pup from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

My supply list is pretty short- it is, after all, a keep it simple challenge:
Cardstock:  Authenitque
Ribbon:  American Crafts
Sentiment:  Missing You Sentiment set (Digital Delights)
Markers:  Copics

Join our challenge by linking your KIS project to Delightful Challenges.

Joining the Pop Up Box Craze

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I spent the entire day yesterday at a crop at my favorite Scrapbook Store.  I teach classes there and was working on a project for my Copic class ladies.  Along with the lesson, I try to find something fun and new for them to do so I decided to hop on the Pop Up Box Card wagon.  My ladies will be using their Copics for each of the elements.  What do you think??

I think they'll enjoy assembling this card, especially since I have everything pre-cut LOL.  I can see why so many crafters are making these cards.  They can become addictive!!!

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Color Me Creative:  #87 Anything Goes
Digi Galore:  Things with Wings
Pumpkin Spice:  #60 Flowers

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday.  Thanks for stopping by.  I always love it when you take the time to leave a comment and/or become a follower.

Let's Party!

It's design team day at Delightful Challenges.  Our theme this week is ADD A FLOURISH.
I'm using Top Hat n Tails Slippy and the Let's Party sentiment from
Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

My flourish is a stamp (don't know what company).  I matted Slippy using Spellbinders Labels 18 and colored him with Copics.  I also used Copics for the marbleized background adding some white gel pen flourishes.  A strip of Washi tape finished the card.

Add a flourish to your project and enter to win 3 sets from
www.thecuttingcafe.typepad.com

Just post your project HERE.

I'm entering the following challenges:

A Big Rose Hello

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I'd like  to share the Design Team card I made using the BG Rose DS file from Paper Crafting World.  I've been on a craft room clean and purge kick and in doing so I've gone through all of my paper stacks.  I love the Chateau Lavender stack by DCWV and knew I wanted to use it for this card.  I found a page that I loved but had to actually paper piece to get the parts that I wanted.  I hope you like the results.

Here's the file that you'll find at PCW:

Copic Markers
Liquid Pearls-Bisque
Wink of Stella brush glitter

Silhouette and Vinyl - Oh My!

Have I told you how much I'm enjoying owning a Silhouette Cameo?
I absolutely love the print and cut feature, especially for my design team digital images.  I'm also having a great time with the amazing svg files you can find, particularly those from SVG  Cutting Files.  Well, I wanted to make a special gift for a dear friend's 80th birthday.  I have been wowed by the glass block projects being shared on some of the Silhouette Facebook sites so I decided to give one a try.  My friend is a devoted Red Hat Lady and I found this wonderful file in the Pazzles Craft Room.
What do you think?  The images cut perfectly from the vinyl.  The grapevine has some really fine cuts but it was no problem at all.
 With the lights on

I put tule inside to help cover the lights.

I also had an extra Digi My World image sitting on my desk and wanted to play around with paper piecing.  Here's the result using DMW's new release, Birdhouse.
The sentiment tag is a Jaded Blossom die and the sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's new Smell the
Flowers set.

Thanks for taking a look.  It was fun trying a few new things.  I'm glad I could share them with you.

Open-Minded Crafting Fun "Monochrome" Challenge

Good Morning Crafty Friends,
I hope you had a lovely Valentine's Day.
After so much red, pink, and white, it's nice to have a design change.  Challenge #4 at
Open-Minded Crafting Fun is MONOCHROME.
I love working in the same color family.  It's always a challenge to make the shading work but I love the results.  My image is PIP by A & T Digital Designs.  She is just the sweetest little fairy.  All of the colors used are in the Copic BG family with just a bit of G in the leaf.  The papers are from my stash - so glad they're sorted by colors as it makes this type of challenge easy to pick papers.  I did add a touch of Glossy Accents to the water drops.
Be sure to head over to OMCF to see lots of creations by our designers.  We have 5 sponsors this week so you'll see a variety of digital designs.
Then, join our challenge for a chance to win images from our fabulous sponsors.

Mini Note Card Box

Hello Crafty Friends,
I've been in my crafty space laying out card projects and realized that I had cut some files to take to a crop and never got around to assembling them.  Uh-oh, they're Valentine projects so I figured I'd better get busy!!!  This is my Valentine take on the SVG Cutting FilesKawaii Cloud Mini Note Card Box.  I included some cards cut from the Mini Note Card Bases set as well.
Of course you could make the cloud and rainbow in actual cloud and rainbow colors, but I thought this would be a fun Valentine alternative color scheme.

The box is 3.5x3.5x1.5 so it's plenty big enough for a little gift or some treats.

There are a total of eight different mini notecard combinations in the set.
I hope your week is off to a great start.  We finally had several days of much needed rain - great weather for getting your craft on!

Flashback Tuesday

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today is my design team day at Paper Crafting World and I've decided to share a few projects that I created over a year ago.  I've been down with the "ugly bug" that seems to be going around so my craft room has been abandoned until I feel better.

So, here we go:
This cutie was created using the Bear I Lava You digital stamp.

The next projects were my first ones using PCW cut files and my Pazzles electronic cutter.
PCW cut file used: Bear w Heart Balloons

PCW cut file used: Bunny Raggedy w Hearts

Thanks for taking a step back with me today.

If you haven't joined in these challenges, you're really missing out.  We have a minimum of 4 sponsors for every challenge so you'll have at least 4 chances to win.

My image comes from Paper Pretties.  It's called ConBearsation Hearts.  I still love those little boxes of hearts with all the cute sayings - awww childhood memories.

All the materials used for this card are from my crafty stash.  The bear is colored with Copic Markers as is the marbleized background.  The border punch is Martha Stewart double hearts punch around the page.

You have two weeks to link up your card to be entered in our drawings for images from these sponsors.
