Cut it Up Challenge #368 ~ Thankful, Grateful, Blessed

Hi Crafty Friends,
Time for our final October challenge at Cut it Up Challenges.

We're heading into the holiday season so our challenge is Thankful, Grateful Blessed.
Can't wait to see your interpretation of the theme.

Here's mine.

I used Gina K Designs' Dancing Leaves 3D embossing folder on a piece of patterned paper.  After embossing, I used the stencils that are part of the package.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Fall Word Dies.  Finally, I added some bling from Pinkfresh Studios for a little sparkle.

Can't wait to see what you'll create.

Cut it Up Challenge #354 ~ Colors of Spring

Hi Crafty Friends,

We have a new challenge for you at Cut it Up.  Our theme for challenge 354 is
The Colors of Spring.

I've been cleaning and purging my craft room and am finding sets that have never been opened - Ugh!
I'm using one of those treasures for today's card.

This die set is Artful Tulip from Spellbinders.  I used and very old Cuttlebug embossing folder, Script Texture for the background and cut a Jaded Blossom Scallop Oval from vellum to ground the die cut.
The sentiment is a Betterpress set that I foiled.

Sometimes I just need to "shop" in my own craft room.  Do you ever feel that way?

We have a fun new challenge at Pearly Sparkles.

This month we're asked to create something using mixed color florals.  I've been trying to use some of the MANY new goodies that I've been acquiring.  For this project I've used the Gina K Designs Spring Fling layered stencil set.

The stencil set has four layers.  I used Gina K inks for the blending.  I also used Pinkfresh Studio's Dotted Scallop Cover Plate to add a little more interest.  I cut the mat and ink blended panel using Jaded Blossom's Scallop and Stitched rectangles.  The sentiment was created with a Betterpress plate.  I finished off with a few sequins, ribbon, and a butterfly from my stash.

Sketch Saturday #776 with the Optional Twist to Add an Extra Layer

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's our next Sketch Saturday challenge for May.
Challenge #776 has the Optional Twist of adding an extra layer.

I've used my favorite color combination with this card :).
The patterned paper is from an old Crafter's Companion kit.  I've used shape dies from Jaded Blossom along with an oldie but goodie Cuttlebug Dotted Swiss embossing folder and Altenew's Deck Planks 3D embossing folder.  I think the flower is an older Spellbinders die set.  This was one of those cards that came together by digging through my product stash of dies, folders, and papers.

Here's the challenge sketch.

I can't wait to see your interpretation.
