Moving Along with the Times ~ August Challenge ~ Feminine

Hi Crafty Friends,

Time for another Moving Along with the Times challenge.  This month we're asking for feminine cards.

I had fun with a "new to me" die and stencil set from Pinkfresh Studio.

I truly enjoy using Pinkfresh Studio products.  Their amazing stencils make adding color so easy.  And, if you haven't tried any of their all at once dies ~ well, they're amazing.

I cut three sets of this die so I could stack them to add dimension.  I had the glittered mat in my Pinkfresh stash.  That, and a few gems was all this card needed.

Pinkfresh products used:
Ornate Rectangle Frames, Rising Wildflowers die and stencils, Extra Special sentiment stamp/die set and Glacier Glittered cardstock.  I also used Pinkfresh ink cubes.

Hope you'll play along this month.

Pearly Sparkles August Challenge ~ Summer Holidays

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our Pearly Sparkles challenge for this month is Summer Holidays.

I think this can interpreted several different ways:  our friends in Europe refer to vacations as holidays so you card may represent your summer vacation choice.  Here in the USA we celebrate the 4th of July holiday along with Memorial Day and Labor Day.  So perhaps you'll interpret the challenge as an actual holiday (from work.)

I went with the 4th of July since I had just received the Sunny Days, Breezy Nights stamp set from Gina K and it has some cute fireworks (along with beachy items.)

I used Ohuhu glitter markers on the images, Doodlebug Design papers and a Whimsy Stamps stitched squares panel die.  The whirlygig is on a spinner so the recipient can have fun actually spinning it around.

I hope you'll play along.

The Outlawz Christmas Only Challenge ~ August 2026

Hi Crafty Friends,

Christmas in July may be over but at The Outlawz Christmas Only challenge it's always Christmas.

LLLC A Caroling We Will Go clear stamp set
Jaded Blossom Magical Swirl Stencil
SCT Snowman Ornament dies (from Jingle & Joy Card Event)
Copic Markers

Don't stop your holiday cardmaking now.  Join us and make sure you'll have plenty on hand when it's time to start addressing and mailing those cards.

Cut it Up Challenge #361 ~ Emboss It!

Hi Crafty Friends,

Time for another Cut it Up Challenge.  Challenge 361 is Emboss it!

For years I've used patterned papers for the majority of my backgrounds. I must say, I love embossed backgrounds so much!  Embossing adds so much texture without too much bulk.  I also love heat embossing, especially for sentiments and outline of images to be colored.
For this challenge, I've used both, dry embossing for the focal image and heat embossing for the sentiment.

I've used all Gina K Designs products on this project:
Dazzling Sunflower 3D embossing folder, die and stencil set, Master Layout 2, Cheers to Another Year stamp and die set, and Gina K inks.

Come join us on the CIU blog and be sure to hit the follower button.  We're only 2 away from our pirze drawing.

Pearly Sparkles July Challenge ~ Christmas is July

Hi Crafty Friends,

Woohoo!  Another Christmas in July challenge.  This is the month I really get ahead on holiday cards.

For the Pearly Sparkles challenge, I got out my "extras" box and created a card with some die cut leftovers.

To make this shape card, I used lots of Pinkfresh Studio die cuts:
the layers were cut using Dotted Fancy Frames and the Snowflake foil plate and die for the focal die cut.  I also used Whimsy Stamps Merry Christmas sentiment set and Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder.

Join us this month at Pearly Sparkles.

The Outlawz Christmas Only Challenge ~ July 2026

Hi Crafty Friends,

July is a great month to get a jump on Christmas cards since many challenge blogs are using
Christmas is July as their theme.

Of course, at The Outlawz Christmas challenge that's always our theme.

For this month I made some fun gift tags using products from the SCT Holiday 2025 kit.
I also used Gina K Designs inks and Doodlebug Designs patterned paper.

These tags are such a great size.  They are actually large enough to adhere a gift card on the back and I think they would be cute ornaments hanging from the tree.  So many possibilities.

I hope you'll play along at The Outlawz Christmas.
