Pearly Sparkles March Challenge ~ Use a Digi Stamp

Hi Crafty Friends,
We have a new monthly challenge for you at Pearly Sparkles.
This month we're asking you to use a digi stamp.  I love using digis.  It's actually the way I got started creating cards and coloring with Copic Markers.  My very first design team was creating for a digital artist.  She took a chance on me and I never looked back!
Here's my March project - a 10th Birthday card for a very special young lady who loves unicorns.The digital stamp is from LaLa Land Crafts, one of the Marci stamps.

Cut it Up Challenge # 220 ~ Color Challenge/Black and White with a Pop of Color

Hi Crafty Friends,
Our Cut it Up challenge for this time is Black and White with a POP of color.  I hope you'll join in the fun and share your project by linking to the Cut it Up Blog.
Here's my project: 

I used a Stamp Anniething stencil to ink blend Hero Arts white pigment ink onto black paper.  Then I cut out this cute flower using the Whimsy Stamps Peony Die set.  I inked the edges for a little added dimension and added a brad center (yes!  I still use brads occasionally!)  The sentiment is heat embossed onto a strip cut out using one of the Jaded Blossom Flag Dies.  I used Bo Bunny card stock.  The Double Dot line is still one of my all time favorites.

Jaded Blossom February Release ~ Sneak Peek Day 2

Welcome back to another day of Jaded Blossom reveals.
Here's my project using one of our new stencils and a new stamp set.I made a birthday card for my son-in-law who is a housepainter and loves the Denver Broncos (hence the color scheme.)

I used distress inks to ink blend the stencil and then used the same inks to water color the images on the tag.  I heat embossed the tag image first - makes painting a little easier :)

Cut it Up Challenge #219 ~ All You Need is Love

Here's my All You Need is Love project - a banner for my Valentine-themed tiered tray.

The dies were cut using a Gemini Jr.  The images were colored using Copic markers and cut out using a Scan N Cut2.

Frappe Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's my design team day at Jaded Blossom.

It's always good to have a stash of birthday cards and coffee-themed cards are so much fun to send.

I love Doodlebug Designs patterned papers.  The cute patterns often provide inspiration for the design of the card.  I wanted to create a clear frappe cup so I used acetate, leaving the protective film on.

I didn't want glue to show so I ran the inside piece and the cup rim through a Xyron.

Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge ~ Flowers

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I'm sharing my project for Jaded Blossom's Monthly Challenge.Our theme is FLOWERS.  I hope you'll join us.  Just be sure you use a Jaded Blossom stamp or die on your project and link to the Jaded Blossom blog.
I decided to used water colors for my project.

First I water colored the background looking at the image to guide where I applied the color.Then I stamped the image and heat embossed it using Gold Detail embossing powder.I went back with my Karin Water Color pens and added a little more depth to the color both in the flowers and leaves and the background.I also heat embossed the sentiment.
