The Merry Christmas Challenge #9

Hi Crafty Friends,

The Holly and Ivy Team is up for challenge #9.  Our optional theme is Snowmen.
I love snowmen and have a pretty good collection (which are still on display - eeek!)

Here's my card for this challenge.

I colored this image in multiples to have a set of cards to send.  I love the Buffalo print patterned paper.  The sentiment is from a sticker set by Carta Bella.  I colored using Copics.  This image is a digi stamp from Copic Marker Scrapbooking which is no longer in existence.  So glad I have this file because I think he's a great snowman.

So, keep working on those Christmas cards and share them with us at
The Merry Christmas Challenge.

Kitty Bee Designs DT Spotlight

Hi Crafty Friends,

My turn to share another Kitty Bee Designs Spotlight image.

This month I've chosen
Narwhal Love which can be purchased HERE.

It's such a sweet image.  All of the papers including the frame are from my stash.
The "waves" were created using a LaLa Land Crafts die.  I colored using Copics and added some Wink of Stella and a gem.

There is a new Spotlight Post shared everyday at Kitty Bee Designs.  I hope you'll visit to see many of the adorable images available in the Kitty Bee shop.

Always Fun Challenges #47 ~ Travel

Hi Crafty Friends,

This week's Always Fun Challenge is TRAVEL.
I knew I had the perfect LaLa Land Crafts dies and digi to create a card for this theme.

The patterned papers are from Bo Bunny's Weekend Market 6x6 pad.
I used LaLa Land's Winter Marci digi stamps for my image which I colored using Copic markers.  I used dies from both LaLa Land and Jaded Blossom cutting them all out using my Gemini Jr.

Cut It Up Challenges ~ Anything Goes

Hi Crafty Friends,

I know you'll love our next challenge because it's ANYTHING GOES!!

Our sponsor, Ink on 3, provided files for our DT projects.

Here's mine using the Peacock Basket 3D SVG file.

This file was so easy to cut and assemble.  I used my Silhouette and embossed one layer using an Anna Griffin embossing folder.  I used foam tape between several of the layers for some added dimension and added a few gems to the peacock.  My daughter recently got engaged and I was experimenting with her wedding colors.  She was happy with the Tiffany Blue, orange, and gray combination.

Be sure to visit Cut It Up Challenge Blog to enter our ANYTHING GOES challenge for a chance to win a gift certificate from Ink on 3.  Remember to use a die cut somewhere on your project.

Always Fun Challenge #45 ~ Valentine

Hi Crafty Friends,
I hope you've been enjoying our weekly challenges at
Always Fun Challenges.
Our theme for this week is Valentine.  I'm finding it hard to gear up for Valentine's after spending so much crafty time on the holidays and then my daughter's birthday.  At least having Valentine as our theme ensures that I'll have something to send LOL!

I was digging through some of my wood mounted stamps and came across these cute heart stamps.  After stamping, I cut them out using a La La Land die and then added the lock and key (also La La Land).  I think it made a simple, cute card.

Just follow the link above to join this week's challenge.

Aloha Friday Challenge for Kitty Bee Designs

Hi Crafty Friends,

Kitty Bee Designs is back with our 2018 Challenges.
Aloha Friday Challenge #111 is Animal Safari.  My image is from our sponsor, Paper Shelter.
It can be found HERE.

I colored using Copic markers.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Birds of a Feather set.  The leaves are from La La Land Crafts.

This is the mid-inspiration post so that means you still have plenty of time to enter.  Just follow the link above.

I hope you'll join us.

Cut it Up Challenge #141 ~ Layers of Love

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our theme for this Cut it Up Challenge is Layers of Love and we're asking for projects that include at least 3 layers.

I LOVE layering - probably my favorite technique.  Also, I just received the Gemini Jr. that I ordered during the last HSN craft show so I put my new cutter to good use.  After running a lot of Valentine dies through the machine, I just started assembling layers and here's the result.

This hodge podge type card isn't usually my style but I'll admit it was fun just laying out the different die cuts and then seeing how I could layer and tuck to create something fun.  I used dies from LaLa Land Crafts, Jaded Blossom, and Penny Black.

Always Fun Challenge #44 ~ Anything Goes

Hi Crafty Friends,

For this week's Always Fun Challenge I got out a box of Anna Griffin card kit materials which I ordered YEARS ago!  Sometimes you just need to put together a quick,  yet elegant card and that's what I did for this one. Actually, I assembled this card along with a sweet sympathy card - easy peasy.

I must admit the graphics that are provided in Anna's kits are lovely.  I guess I've just felt that I was sort of cheating in the handmade department.  But, you know what, sometimes the kits make a card happen when you wouldn't have had time, so there you go!

Come on over and join the fun.  It's ANYTHING GOES so show us your creations.  Just follow the link above.
