Pearly Sparkles November Challenge ~ Winter or Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time for another Pearly Sparkles challenge.  This is the last challenge of 2023.  The design team will take a break in December and then return with all new challenges in 2024!

Our final theme for the year is Winter or Christmas.

I have fallen in love with many of the Spellbinders floral die sets.  For this card, I'm using the Christmas Bird Poinsettia set and Altenew's 3D embossing folder, Organic Linen.  I used 110# white cardstock for all the die cutting and then used Altenew Crisp Dye inks to ink blend the pieces.

Can't wait to see your entry.

Hugs,
Larelyn

Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers ~ Falling for the Holidays Linky Party

Hi Crafty Friends,

We're having our final Linky Party of 2023 at
BYSH Cardmakers.
We have so many amazing sponsors which means lots of prizes and chances to win for those of you who link your Christmas/Winter projects to the BYSH blog.
The party begins on October 20 and runs until October 27 and you may enter as often as you would like.
What better way to get ahead on your holiday cardmaking!!

Here's my design team project using an exclusive set from Pinkfresh Studio.  This snowflake stamp/die/stencil set was a part of the Create and Connect Holiday Cardmaking workshop.
I decided to add it to an acetate cover for a little different design.  The design papers are from LaLa Land Crafts.

Good Luck!  I can't wait to see what YOU create.

Cut it Up Challenge #289 ~ Add a Sentiment

Hi Crafty Friends,

We have a new challenge on the Cut it Up Challenge Blog.
For challenge #289 we're adding sentiments (now that should be easy!) and, of course, including a die cut.

I've made a card for my nephew's birthday.  I love this crazy cow from Whimsy Stamps' Hee Haw set.
The card mat die and OMG dies are also from Whimsy Stamps.

I hope you'll join in the fun at Cut it Up.

Cut it Up Challenge #288 ~ Favorite Color(s)

Hi Crafty Friends,

We have a new challenge posting on the Cut it Up Challenge Blog.
Our theme is Favorite Color(s).

I love purples - all shades.  But, if you add a touch of green, I'm in heaven!!

My bestie gifted me some new dies so I used the florals from the Crafter's Companion Mailbox Flowers die set.  I also used the envelope from a Pinkfresh Studio Connect and Create exclusive set, and the postage stamp dies from LaLa Land Crafts.

I die cut the florals using 110# Neenah Solar Crest and then colored them using Copic Markers.
I learned a trick for adding lots of die cuts onto the project.  After I placed the pieces where I wanted them, I used Press and Seal to pick up grouping.  I turned it over to apply adhesive and then placed it back onto my project.  I only had to add a little more adhesive to front flower.

I hope you'll play along with us and share a project using your favorite color(s).
Just follow the link above.

We're always looking for guest designers so if you're interested, just send an email to the address posted on the Cut it Up blog page.
