Cut it Up Challenge #356 ~ Flowers

Hi Crafty Friends,
Our mid-month challenge #356 at Cut it Up Challenges is FLOWERS.
I was inspired by an album class I took a number of years ago from Martha Tucker.I loved her die cut choices as well as her color scheme so this card was created using her techniques and choices.

The sentiment, lily, and butterfly are all dies from Lala Land Crafts.

The stencil on which I used Hero Arts Glitter Paste and Gina K ink is LLLC's Floral Beauty.  I used Taylored Expressions A2 Stacklets to cut the layers.

Double Trouble 3-2-1 Challenge #216

Here's my project for #216 and how I interpreted all the Things.

ALL THE THINGS

Thing 1 Trouble Maker offers the 3-2-1 challenge:

3 Layers (card base does not count - My patterned papers are from an older Bo Bunny coordinating set

2 Shapes  - I've used a banner die and circle dies

1 image- The tricycle is a Lala Land Crafts die

  the first time I've tried iYou may stop with Thing 1's challenge but to add a little more fun we have Thing 3 Twisted Sister's optional twist: At least one Wheel, Cam, and/or Gears

And finally, to support our sister challenge blogs, Thing 2's Double Dare is to use TSOT #695

I used the sketch for inspiration.  It can be seen the sketch in the graphic below.

The Male Room ~ New DT Position

Hi Crafty Friends,
Masculine cards are sometimes a challenge to design, and I often find myself struggling to come up with ideas.Then I was introduced to a challenge blog, The Male Room, and they were having a DT call.I figured that if I designed for a masculine-based team, I would be inspired to create more masculine cards.So, I applied and was accepted ~ Woohoo!
The Male Room is a monthly challenge posting on the first Wednesday of each month.A theme is provided for each challenge.  The theme for May is FOOD and/or DRINK.My actual DT term begins next month (June), but I am guest designing for this month.
Here's my fun drink-related project.

I've used dies from Jaded Blossom and the Winter Wonder stencil from Taylored Expressions.  The background was stamped using the Sweater Weather background stamp from LaLa Land Crafts.

Cut it Up Challenge #355 ~ Something With Wings

Hi Crafty Friends,
Busy day today on the blog with so many First of the Month challenges and this month our CIU challenge also lands on the 1st!!
Cut it Up challenge #355 is to create Something with Wings.
I'm a big fan of Pinkfresh Studio products and I've had this set for awhile.It's a pressplate which I chose to foil - yes, you can foil pressplates!!!

I used Jaded Blossom's stitched and scallop circle dies for the gold border and Gina K inks to add color to the stenciled image.  The sentiment is a Betterpress plate and die set called Fancy Sentiment Strips.
