Always Fun Challenge #30 ~ Halloween

Hi Crafty Friends,

This is my final Halloween project.  Now to wait for the kiddos tomorrow night.

For this Always Fun Challenge, I made a small gable box.  It was going to be a treat holder but while at our LSS Crop, a crafty friend suggested that it would be cute as a tea light holder.  I tried it and I really like the results.

I did add clear plastic behind the cut out so it could still be a treat holder.
The box is a new Jaded Blossom  Gable box die and the ghost and spider are from Jaded Blossom's
Halloween Dies.

Always Fun Challenges #29 ~ Black and White

Hi Crafty Friends,

This week's Always Fun Challenge is Black and White.

Ok, I have to admit that I took a bit of artistic license when I added a touch of red . . .

I love the simplicity of this card.  The die is Jaded Blossom Christmas Scenic Dies and the patterned paper is Authentique.  Just a heat embossed sentiment and it was good to go.

Please follow the link above to enter our weekly challenge.

Always Fun Challenges #28 ~ Monochrome

Hi Crafty Friends,

This week's challenge is one I love ~ MONOCHROME.  I'm such a paper hoarder and I love playing with lots of different colors, shades, and textures.  Today I worked with some of my masculine papers to create this card for my hubby's hunting buddy.

I used several Jaded Blossom dies; Christmas Dies 2, Card Mat Dies, and Stitched Rectangles.  The sentiment was cut from Little B's Handwritten dies set and the trees are from Impression Obsession.

I hope you've been following our Always Fun Challenges.  There is a new challenge every Monday.  Come on over and join us!

The Merry Christmas Challenge #38

Hi Crafty Friends,

I hope you've been playing along with our weekly TMCC challenges.
The theme is always ANYTHING GOES + Christmas and any Christmas craft is acceptable.  What a great way to keep those Christmas ideas going.

I belonged to the Simon Says Stamp card kit club for over a year and this card was created using the stamps and materials from the "Gifts of Love" kit collection and inspiration.

I stamped and then cut the images with my Scan N Cut2.   I colored using Copic markers and then just added to sequins after assembling the card.  I think I'll use the same stamp again but maybe switch from presents to a tree - lots of options with the stamp set.

I post for TMCC on the even challenges but there is a new challenge EVERY week so I hope you'll join us HERE.

Always Fun Challenge #27 ~ Lots of Layers

Hi Crafty Friends,

This week's Always Fun Challenge is one of my favorite techniques ~ lots of layers.
My style is pretty CAS but I do love layering mats and die cuts - it's just what I do!

Here's a Pinterest inspired birthday card I made for a special young man.

Along with lots of mat layering, I used Jaded Blossom Splatters stamp sets (3 different ones) and Alphabet Dies 1 and 2.  I used Momento inks for the stamping.

Please follow the link above and join in our challenge.  We'd love to see how you use lots of layers.

Only Princesses Wear Pink

Hi Crafty Friends,

My October project for Paper Crafting World is an Awareness reminder and also a message of hope.

I've used the Bear Princess Sitting DS file from Paper Crafting World which comes with the sentiment and pre colored images as well as the line art.

I colored using Copic markers and added Spectrum Noir Sparkle glitter pen to the crown and ribbons.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month but please remember that many, many people are battling other forms of cancer and need your support as well.

Thanks for visiting.

Always Fun Challenge #26 ~ Dies or Punches

Hi Crafty Friends,

Well my goodness, isn't this challenge right up my alley?  I LOVE using dies for my projects so this card was a true joy to create.  I am such a fan of La-La Land Crafts' dies.  They have such amazing detail and cut like a dream.  I've cut them using my Cuttlebug and, most recently, my Gemini.

Here's another Christmas card (whoa, I may be ahead of last year LOL.)

I think the classic white linen pearl card stock is so elegant and it really brings out the details in the die cuts.  The snowflakes is a pocket die.  I cut the poinsettia wreathe in both card stock and chipboard to add some dimension.  LLLC dies cut lightweight cardboard and chipboard easily.

I hope you'll join this week's challenge.  You may use either die cuts or punches or both.

Link your creation to Always Fun Challenges.
