Double Trouble Challenge 195 ~ 3-2-1 "Inky Pinkies"

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have some exciting news to share.  I have just joined the Double Trouble Challenge design team!!
It's such a unique and fun blog, I hope you'll take a look.

Our challenge has 3 options so you'll want to visit the blog for a detailed explanation.
Each option gives you more chances in our Random Drawings.

Here's my first project as a designer (aka Sneetch)

Thing 1 Trouble Maker offers the 3-2-1 challenge which for this challenge is
3 colors - mine are blue, turquoise, and purple
2 images hand-stamped - I used Taylored Expressions Doodle Birds stamp and die set
1 sentiment - I used a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Birds of a Feather set.

You can stop with Thing 1's challenge but to add a little more fun we have Thing 3 Twisted Sister's optional twist: shimmer and shine.  I added foiled cardstock dies and mat, metallic ink splatter using Yasutomo metallic paint, a heat embossed sentiment, and I used Ohuhu Glitter Markers (along with Copics) for my birds.

And finally, to support our sister challenge blogs, Thing 2's Double Dare is to use the upcoming TSOT sketch #674.  That post isn't live until Tuesday but you can see a sneak peek in the graphic above.

I'll be back bi-weekly on Mondays to share more Double Trouble challenges.
I hope you'll play along.

Welcome to The Outlawz Festive Friday first challenge of the new year.

As always, we have 4 themes for you to choose from:

Use Blue
Something New
Sympathy

I have chosen to Use Blue for my winter themed card.

I used Jaded Blossom's Luggage Tag die and Gnoel Gnome stamp set, colored using Copics, for this card.  I also used some snowflakes from my die cut stash.

I hope you'll play along with us.

You're a Koalaty Friend

 Hi Crafty Friends,

It's my day to post a Jaded Blossom project here and on the Jaded Blossom Blog.

I have loved Jaded Blossom for many, many years so my stamp and die collection is quite extensive.
I categorize many of my stamps by theme but I also have 3 shoeboxes full of general stamps, easy to forget what I have since I never got on the record keeping train.
Anyhoo - I thought it would be fun to do a blind selection and create a project from whatever I picked out - sight unseen- from my collection.

Here's my project using the G'Day Mate stamp set (randomly selected.)

I also used 3 dies from the Card Mat Dies, the Birch Tree and Vine Stencils and some leaves from the Tropical Flowers Dies.  The image was cut using a Scan N Cut and colored using Copics.

Thanks for stopping by,

Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge 412 ~ Favorite Color Combination

Hi Crafty Friends,
Our Die Cuttin' Divas' challenge for this week is to show your
FAVORITE COLOR combination.
Well, I have two favorite colors and I especially like to use them together.
Isn't this gnome just too cute.  He's from Stampingbella.  I purchased 3 gnome-themed stamps and I'm excited to start using them.  I wasn't a fan of gnomes until the Scandinavian style gnome got popular.  I think they're adorable.
The papers I used are from Doodlebug Designs.  I love their vibrant colors.  I cut the mat and flags with stitched dies from CC Designs and fussy cut the image before I colored using Copic markers.
I hope you'll share your favorite color with us.  Just follow the link above.
I'd like to enter this card in the Cute N Crafty Challenge - #23 Spring is in the Air.

I colored Spa Marci using Copic Markers and added some pearls to the flower centers.

I hope you'll join me at Pearly Sparkles and let us see your Girly project.

Die Cuttin' Diva's Challenge #408 ~ RAK

Hi Crafty Friends,

Don't you love doing something for someone when they don't expect it?
Our challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas is to share your RAK (random act of kindness) project.

I love giving (and receiving) coffee cards so I decided to send one to a friend, just because.

A new online stamp company just opened and I couldn't wait to use my new stamps.
The first release for The Rabbit Hole Designs LLC was a "caffeinated" theme and today I'm sharing the Caffeinated Octopus - isn't she just too funny?!!!

I'm using Jaded Blossom's Pillow Box die for the gift card holder.  The sentiment is from JB's
Random Act of Kindness set.  I also added a coffee bean heart from La La Land Crafts.

I colored the image using Copic markers on Neenah Desert Storm paper - well, that was an adventure LOL!

I hope you'll share your RAK projects with us.  Just follow the link above.

My Time to Craft # 390 ~ Men Only

Hi Crafty Friends,

The My Time to Craft challenge is MEN ONLY.
I always appreciate this theme because I never seem to have enough masculine cards on hand.

Here's my card which will be a birthday card for my daughter's father-in-law.

I stamped and then colored this cling stamp by Art Impressions using Copic markers.
I placed a gift card inside using the Jaded Blossom gift card die.
I hope he likes it.

Please join us at My Time to Craft (link above).  It's a great way to add to your masculine card stash!

I have another card that I made especially for a challenge.

Next month I'll be joining the Pearly Sparkles Challenge Blog design team, but for now I'm sharing a card that I'm entering in their February challenge, It's a Love Thing.

I used one of the images and a sentiment from The Rabbit Hole Designs' Love You More stamp set.  The sentiment is heat embossed and the image is colored with Copic markers.  I also added some Wink of Stella to the balloons.   The die cut border is from Whimsy stamps.

Challenge Card for STAMP anniething Challenge #37

Hi Crafty Friends,

I've been wanting to enter more card challenges this year so today I'm sharing a card I make especially for the STAMP anniething challenge on Facebook.

For this "use a die" challenge (along with a STAMP anniething stamp) I used Gracie, How you bean?
She's colored using Copic markers which was a bit of a challenge since I stamped her on basic card stock rather than Copic-friendly.  After stamping the image, I masked her off and used the Coffee Beans stencil to create the ombre background.  I also ran the stencil through my Gemini to achieve an embossed look on the Kraft mat paper.  The coffee cup is from the Jaded Blossom Coffee Dies set.

The Facebook challenge can be found HERE.

I chose a cute Stamping Bella image that I've had for quite awhile to create this birthday card.

I colored using Copic markers.  The die cuts include Spellbinders nesting pennants and Little B sentiments.

I look forward to seeing what you share.  Just follow the DCD link above to join our challenge.

My Time to Craft #388 ~ Winter Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends,
Our theme for this next challenge at My Time to Craft is Winter Birthday.
I made this card using some of my favorite dies and the La La Land digital stamp, Long Sweater Marci. Here it is:
I love using the white pearl linen cardstock.  I cut several of the dies out of both the linen cardstock and chip board to add some dimension.  I colored Marci using Copic markers with a touch of Signo white gel pen.  All of the dies were cut on the Gemini Jr.
Follow the link above to join in our challenge.

Cut it Up Challenge #165 ~ How's the Weather?

Hi Crafty Friends,
Our Cut it Up Challenge theme is How's the Weather?
You can interpret it anyway you wish, weather icons, seasons, clothing, activities, etc.
Here's my card:
I used all La La Land Crafts stamps and dies on this one.  I colored Winter Molli using Copic markers.  For the scene I used Double stitched hills and Stitched clouds.  For the background I embossed one of the layering stencils from the It's Snowing set.  Yes, I said EMBOSSED!  It's a technique I've learned from Irina's make and takes - so much fun and I love the effect.
I hope you'll join in our challenge for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from our sponsor,
AveryElle.
Just follow the Cut it Up link above.

I'm entering this card in the Pearly Sparkles Challenge - Anything Goes.

Cut it Up Challenge # 164 ~ New Year's Resolutions

Hi Crafty Friends,
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year!
For last year's "Resolutions" challenge at Cut it Up Challenges I pledged to use my crafty planner to keep myself organized.  I want you to know that I have kept that resolution so I'm ready to share my new one for 2019.  I have been a designer on a Christmas card challenge team.  When it came time to mail out my cards there was no last minute scramble to have a card for everyone on our list.  I was so happy.  So, even though that particular challenge blog has closed down, my resolution is to continue to make Christmas cards throughout the year.
Here's my first Christmas card for next year's stash using one of the Xmas Mice digi images from our sponsor, Kitten Scraps.
The image was colored with Copic markers.  I used Jaded Blossom's stitched rectangles for the mats and La La Land Crafts Christmas trees to embellish.
Follow the Cut it Up Challenge link above to join in our New Year's Resolutions/Goals challenge.
Don't forget to use a die cut!
Wishing you a very Happy New Year 2019!

Kitty Bee Designs ~ DT Spotlight

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I'm sharing my December spotlight project for Kitty Bee Designs using Snow Penguin.

I just love this cute image!  I die cut the octagon from the mat and added dimensional tape to pop the layer up on the card base.  Then I flipped the cut out over and popped the image on it before adding it back into the mat. The Octagon dies are from Jaded Blossom. I used Copic markers to color the image and added some sparkle to the pom poms and snowball using Stickles Frosted Lace.  The sentiment is also from Jaded Blossom stamped onto a flag die from LaLa Land Crafts.

This is my final spotlight for Kitty Bee Designs.  I have loved sharing all of these fabulous images and am so thankful to Kel for allowing me to be a member of the design team.

I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Aloha Friday Challenge for Kitty Bee Designs ~ #133 Santa's Helpers

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today is my final Aloha Friday Challenge for Kitty Bee Designs.
This is the mid inspiration post so you still have to enter the challenge.
It's been a pleasure designing for Kitty Bee Designs using both the Kitty Bee Original designs and those from our sponsors.

For today's challenge I've used an image from the set 3 Funny Elves by Mmedel Illustrations.

I colored using Copic markers.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom stamped onto a die cut from the JB Word Bubbles set.

Just follow the link above to join in our challenge.

My Time to Craft #384 ~ One layer

Hi Crafty Friends,
For our challenge at My Time to Craft we're asking that you use just one layer.  Wow!  that's a tough one for someone who loves mats and layers (ME.)
So, I started looking through some of my stamps and found this cutie from Stampendous that I have never used.
I colored the image using Copics after stamping and masking so that I could add the brick wall.
The bricks and ribbon are from the Doodled Frames set by Craftin Desert Divas.  I added the scribbled frame using a Copic liner pen.  The sentiment is from a Crafter's Companion set.
This was a good challenge for me.  I really want to do more using just stamps to create the card art.
I hope you'll join in our challenge.
Just follow the link above.

Cut it Up Challenge # 162

Hi Crafty Friends,

We're celebrating World Hello Day at Cut it Up Challenge Blog.
This theme can be wide open to YOUR interpretation!!

I chose an image from our challenge sponsor, A Day for Daisies, called
Christmas Tree Time.

I just love this image!  I raided my die cut stash for the sentiment and star, both by LaLa Land Crafts, and then colored the image using Copic Markers and Spectrum Noir Sparkle for the stars.

I hope you'll join in our challenge.  Remember to use a die cut!
