Pearly Sparkles' September Challenge ~ Pink, Pearls, and Sparkle

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's September and time to honor and remember our blog challenge founder, Traci. She loved anything pink especially with pearls and a little sparkle so that's our Pearly Sparkles' September challenge theme.
I have been wanting the Spellbinders Big Bold Blooms die set for awhile so I finally ordered it.  I can see why it's so popular; it's really fun to use.  The flower clusters made the perfect focal point on which to add some pearls and sparkle.

The sentiment, which is heat embossed with a clear sparkle powder, is from Jaded Blossom.

Cut it Up Challenge #259 ~ Grandparent's Day

Our next challenge at Cut it Up Challenges is Grandparent's Day.We're looking for projects that in some way honor a grandparent - a card, scrapbook page, gift, or whatever crafty inspiration you choose to share.  Remember your project must include a die cut.
I made a fun card using an image and sentiment from Whimsy Stamps' Peeking Pandas set.  I also used stamps and dies from Jaded Blossom's Thanks set.

A Christmas Poinsettia

It's my design team day to share on the Jaded Blossom Blog.
I'm still working towards having enough holiday cards on hand to be ready for Christmas mailing in early December.  Here's another design using our Triangle Card Mat Dies.

These were so easy to put together and I love the effect of patterned papers within the triangles.  I used the Small Poinsettia Die set for the focal point cutting the petals in 3 shades of red.  The sentiment is from the Elegant Holiday Greetings set stamped onto one of the Flag Die shapes.

Just Saying Hello

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I have a sweet friendship card using the "Woof You" digital image from All Dressed Up.

I used Copic markers to color.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom.  I heat embossed the white ink on the black paper to make it stand out.  I used a Martha Stewart border punch (!) for the side panel.  Wow, I haven't used an actual border punch in ages.  I almost donated all of mine - who knew!  The pierced dies are from STAMPlorations.

Cut it Up Challenge #258 ~ All About YOU

We have a new challenge for Cut it Up.  This challenge is about YOU!So, let's see a project about you, or that reflects your interests, something you'd like to challenge yourself to do, or something that holds special meaning for you.You'll find lots of different ideas and interpretations over on the Cut it Up Blog.
I have been wanting to try some different crafty things and to use products I have but have not used. My bestie is an avid mini album creator along with journals and folios.  She made me some samples and I decided to try this easy One Page Wonder Mini Pocket album (baby steps!)
Here's my project.

As you can see there are 4 pockets.  I made photo inserts but they could also hold souvenirs, lists, bookmarks, tags, whatever.  I used an Altenew 3D Wild Rose Die cut for the cover.  I have quite a variety of Altenew products that I just don't seem to get around to using.  I've shared a brief "how to".  As you can see, it's score and folds with just one cut - easy peasy.  
We can't wait to see your creation and learn a little something about YOU.

Jaded Blossom August 2022 Challenge
