Double Trouble Challenge #196 ~ 3-2-1 Recipe "Keep Us in Stitches"

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time for another Double Trouble Challenge.

Our challenge has 3 options so you'll want to visit the blog for a detailed explanation.
Each option gives you more chances in our Random Drawings.

Here's my project for #196 and how I interpreted all the Things!

Thing 1 Trouble Maker offers the 3-2-1 challenge which for this challenge is
3 layers - layering is my favorite thing so you'll see lots of layers
2 images stamped or die cut - I used Jaded Blossom's Gnome Friends: Honey Bee, Sunflower Dies, Honeycomb Card Mat die, and Bee Faces.  I also used La-La Land Crafts card kit #30 for the hive
1 stitched element - Most of the Jaded Blossom dies have stitching

You can stop with Thing 1's challenge but to add a little more fun we have Thing 3 Twisted Sister's optional twist: Fun Pun Sentiment.  Mine is from Jaded Blossom's Bee Kind Sentiment stamp and die set.

And finally, to support our sister challenge blogs, Thing 2's Double Dare is to use the upcoming TSOT sketch #675.  That post isn't live until Tuesday but you can see a sneak peek in the graphic above.  The sketch is for inspiration.  You might have noticed, I changed the orientation.

I'll be back bi-weekly on Mondays to share more Double Trouble challenges.
I hope you'll play along.

Hi Crafty Friends,

We have a fun new sketch for you at {BYSH}.  You have the entire month to enter our FaceBook Challenge.  It's such a great way to be ahead for your holiday card making.

 our FaceBook page HERE.

Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers ~ Second December Sketch #29,

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I'm sharing another card I made using December's Sketch #29.
For this card I used papers and a sticker from Echo Park's Gnome Christmas paper set.

I attached the gnome sticker to a die cut from Jaded Blossom's
Label Shape Dies 1.  I used two 5 x3.75 pieces of patterned papers cut on the diagonal to have the right shapes to adhere to a 4x5.25 card mat.

Here's the sketch for you to follow:
Be sure to link up to our Facebook album so we can all enjoy your creation.

Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers ~ December Sketch Challenge #29

Hi Crafty Friends,

The December Sketch is up on the {BYSH}Cardmakers Facebook Group.
It's a really fun sketch with so many possibilities.  Just right for your dash to your 2022 Christmas cards deadline.

Here's my first project.
I love white on white and the pops of gold just make it special.  The panels were created by running LaLa Land Crafts' It's Snowing stencil through the Cuttlebug.  The dimensional die cut is Spellbinders Reindeer Prance Layering set popped over the stitched frame from Jaded Blossom's Triangle Card Mat.  I actually cut off 4 of the interior stitched lines in order to follow the sketch.

We hope you'll play along with us this month.  Just upload your project to the album for Sketch 28.

Here's the sketch for inspiration:
I'll be back with a second project later this month.

{BYSH} Cardmakers ~ new design team, new sketch!

Hi Crafty Friends,

I'm so excited to announce that I have joined the {BYSH} Cardmakers team.
That's Build Your Stash Holidays, by the way.  Now I know I'll be ready for holiday card sending!!

Each month a sketch is posted in the Facebook group HERE.  You have the entire month to enter as many times as you wish for a chance to win an assortment of crafty goodies.

You can also take a look at the blog HERE for ideas shared by the design team throughout the month.

Here's my first project following the sketch (posted below.)
I used the Echo Park Happy Christmas 6x6 paper pad and chose the papers that caught my eye.  It's so easy to build a card because all of the papers in the pack coordinate.

I added some holiday greenery using a SSS die cut and embossed the base with a Cuttlebug Dots embossing folder - that's it, easy peasy.  And I think these papers are yummy.

I hope you'll join our Facebook group and share your holiday card ideas as well.
You can also follow the group on Instagram at {BYSH} Cardmakers (@byshcardmakers) • Instagram photos and videos and follow me at Larelyn Sartini (@larelyn) • Instagram photos and videos

Thanks for visiting.  I can't wait to share more {BYSH) Cardmakers projects with you.

Cut it Up Challenge #255 ~ Sketch Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends,

To see Jaded Blossom's mini release and July Celebration Sale click HERE.

We have a fun Sketch challenge for you at Cut It Up Challenges.

Our sponsor, DRS Designs, provided this image so I decided to celebrate Christmas in July and try to get a jump start on my holiday card making.

The simplicity of this sketch makes this a card that will be easy to make multiples and use up some of my holiday paper stash.  The image is Candy Canes 552H and can be found here.

Here's the sketch for you to interpret and don't forget to use a die cut!

Can't wait to see how you use the sketch.

Die Cuttin' Divas #445 ~ Sketch

Hi Crafty Friends,

We're starting a new month so it's time for a Die Cuttin' Divas sketch challenge.

You'll find the inspiration sketch at the bottom of this post.

It's November and my goal is to have enough Christmas cards completed so that can go in the mail early in December.  This is a great goal but one I rarely meet - ugh!
Here's one more to add to my collection using our challenge sketch.

Everything on this card is from my scrap stash - papers, die cuts, and bling.  I keep telling myself I really need to keep using what I have on hand; I did, yay me!

Here's the sketch for you to be inspired by -

I hope you'll play along with us.  Just follow the link above.
