Double Trouble Challenge #196 ~ 3-2-1 Recipe "Keep Us in Stitches"

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time for another Double Trouble Challenge.

Our challenge has 3 options so you'll want to visit the blog for a detailed explanation.
Each option gives you more chances in our Random Drawings.

Here's my project for #196 and how I interpreted all the Things!

Thing 1 Trouble Maker offers the 3-2-1 challenge which for this challenge is
3 layers - layering is my favorite thing so you'll see lots of layers
2 images stamped or die cut - I used Jaded Blossom's Gnome Friends: Honey Bee, Sunflower Dies, Honeycomb Card Mat die, and Bee Faces.  I also used La-La Land Crafts card kit #30 for the hive
1 stitched element - Most of the Jaded Blossom dies have stitching

You can stop with Thing 1's challenge but to add a little more fun we have Thing 3 Twisted Sister's optional twist: Fun Pun Sentiment.  Mine is from Jaded Blossom's Bee Kind Sentiment stamp and die set.

And finally, to support our sister challenge blogs, Thing 2's Double Dare is to use the upcoming TSOT sketch #675.  That post isn't live until Tuesday but you can see a sneak peek in the graphic above.  The sketch is for inspiration.  You might have noticed, I changed the orientation.

I'll be back bi-weekly on Mondays to share more Double Trouble challenges.
I hope you'll play along.

Cut it Up Challenge #251 ~ Any Animal or Insect

Hi Crafty Friends,

Yay!  There's a new Cut it Up Challenge posted.
For this one we'd like to see any animal or insect, and don't forget to add a die cut!

I used stamps from our sponsor, CAS-ual Fridays to create this card.

First I used the "Flowery" background stamp and then colored and die cut a matching flower from the Flower Duo set.  The Hello sentiment was stamped directly on the background.  I added the Bee using a die set from Lala Land Crafts.  I also used the Stitched Rectangles from Jaded Blossom.  The flower was colored using Copic Markers.  This would be such an easy design to mass create using different colors on the flower and mat.

I hope you'll play along with us.  The prize will be a gift voucher from CAS-ual Fridays.
