Cut it Up Challenge #251 ~ Any Animal or Insect

Hi Crafty Friends,

Yay!  There's a new Cut it Up Challenge posted.
For this one we'd like to see any animal or insect, and don't forget to add a die cut!

I used stamps from our sponsor, CAS-ual Fridays to create this card.

First I used the "Flowery" background stamp and then colored and die cut a matching flower from the Flower Duo set.  The Hello sentiment was stamped directly on the background.  I added the Bee using a die set from Lala Land Crafts.  I also used the Stitched Rectangles from Jaded Blossom.  The flower was colored using Copic Markers.  This would be such an easy design to mass create using different colors on the flower and mat.

I hope you'll play along with us.  The prize will be a gift voucher from CAS-ual Fridays.

Cut it Up Challenge #236 ~ PINK

Hi Crafty  Friends,

Our Cut it Up Challenge #236 is all about PINK!  Be sure to use pink on your project along with a die cut.

Here's my card using several stamps from our challenge sponsor,
CAS-ual Fridays.

The sentiment is a combination of two sets; Flower Duo and Hope Ribbon Stamps
The small flower is also a part of the Flower Duo (die included.)

The inside background mat was stamped using the Flowery Background stamp.
I also used Altenew's Daisy 3D embossing folder for the front mat and Jaded Blossom's Panel Die for the sentiment strip.

I hope you'll play along for a chance to store credit from CAS-ual Fridays.

Cut it Up Challenge #225 ~ Mother's Day sponsored by CAS-ual Fridays

Hi Crafty Friends,

We're celebrating mothers with this next challenge at Cut it Up Challenge Blog.

I used a background stamp and a stamp/die combo from our sponsor, CAS-ual Fridays, to create this card.  With the sentiments I chose, it can be used for more than Mother's Day.

I inked up a piece of white Neenah solar white paper with Distress Oxides and then stamped with the "Flowery: background stamp.  Then I used a Jaded Blossom's Scallop Rectangle die to cut it out.  The single flower, leaves, and combined sentiments are from the "Flowery Duo" stamp and die set.  I used JB's Mini Tag Dies 3 to mat the sentiments.

I hope you'll play along with us.  Just follow the link above.

Always Fun Challenge #72 ~ Tags

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our Always Fun Challenge this week is TAGS.  I know you love to make tags.  They are quick and add just the right touch to a gift.

I made this cute little tag using a tag die from Cas-ual Fridays and the coffee cup from Jaded Blossom.  Just a little twine and a sentiment and it's ready for giving.

I hope you'll join this week's challenge. Follow the link above and show us you tag ideas.

Always Fun Challenge #69 ~ Anything But a Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

We're asking for Anything But a Card on this week's Always Fun Challenge.

As I shared on another post, I'm using my challenge opportunities to create things for my duaghter's wedding.  For this challenge I made a gift box which will hold one of her bridesmaid gifts.

I used the Scalloped Caddy die from Jaded Blossom.  The flower is a die from CAS-ual Fridays with the leaves using a Martha Stewart punch (an old standby!)  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's She Said Yes stamp set.

I'll be attending a 3-day group to make even more of these cute little boxes.

Cut It Up Challenge #151 ~ TAG, you're it!

Hi Crafty Friends,

I love making tags!

Our challenge at Cut it Up is to make a tag and we were gifted a great tag die set from our generous sponsor, CAS-UAL FRIDAYS along with a sweet flower die.

With her wedding coming up, I thought I'd make a tag using my daughter's wedding colors and theme (rustic/lace/burlap.)

The tag and flowers are dies from our sponsor.  I used a well-loved Martha Stewart die for the "leaves."  The sentiment is heat embossed using a stamp from Jaded Blossom's Fancy Wedding set.  I added Stickles to the flower centers.  Easy peasy but follows her wedding theme perfectly.

Follow the Cut it Up link above to join in our TAG challenge.
