You're Dino Mite

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's time for the next challenge at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  Remember that our challenges are now monthly (with two weeks to link up) and will always be ANYTHING GOES using a rubber or digital stamp.
My project uses the Dino Mite set which includes the patterned paper and sentiment.
I colored the image using Copic markers and the sentiment with atYou Spica glitter pens.
I hope you'll participate in our challenge.  You can read the guidelines HERE.

Clear it Out Challenge #92 - Fancy Folds

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our Clear it Out challenge for this week is to use a fancy fold and dies or punches as the stash item.  Well, my fold isn't that fancy (just a simple "s" fold) but I like the way it worked for this image.  The image is Star Fairy from Digital Paper Craft.

The patterned paper is Under the Stars from Bella Blvd.  The mats and sentiment were cut from DCWV's Glitzy Glitter Stack.  I used an old Cuttlebug Die plate for the sentiment and the small glitter stars were cut using a Martha Stewart border punch - I just used the cut outs.  I don't know the company that made the scalloped oval - the set was in my die binder without the packaging. Finally, I colored the fairy with Copics and added Stardust Stickles to her wings.

Cut It Up Challenge #78 ~ Old School

Hi Crafty Friends,
What a fun challenge for Cut It Up.  The theme is Old School and we're asked to use tools or techniques from the past.  I went through all of my metal dies and found some that I've had for ages so I brought out the Cuttlebug and had a great time cutting.

I also dug through some old paper stacks and selected all the papers from the Recollections Graceful stack.  Finally, I used my Pazzles inking tool to add Gold Brilliance ink to some of the edges.  The only thing new used on this card is the sentiment from Jaded Blossom's new Encouragement stamp set which I heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder.
Dies used:
Heartfelt Creations:  Classic leaf
Spellbinders:  Les Papillions 2 and Blossom Tags and Accents
Cheery Lynn: French Lattice

Clear It Out Challenge #91 ~ Back to School

Hi Crafty Friends,
This week's Clear it Out Challenge is Back to School using an office supply item from your stash.

I created this cute (and large) card using a sentiment from the School Sentiment set by Digital Delights by Louby Loo (one of our sponsors this week) and also a retired pre colored image.

The papers are by Doodlebug Design and the stars and stitched squares are dies from Jaded Blossom.
I added a paper clip for my stash item.

I hope you'll join in this week's Back to School Challenge.  Don't forget your office supply stash item.

Digital Delights New Release

Hi Crafty Friends,

The August release from Digital Delights by Louby Loo is being featured by the Team 2 Designers.  I'm sharing Sailor Samantha but you'll want to visit the blog to see all the other adorable images.

Samantha is colored with Copic Markers.  I cut the image out using Jaded Blossom's Luggage Tag Die.  The card layout is loosely based on one of the Simon Says Stamps kit of the month layouts using papers from Authentique and a charm from Ranger/Tim Holz.

Here are this month's new release images - perfect for your summer or vacation layouts and cards.

Happy 1st Day of School

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's my day to post at Digi My World.
I'm using one of the images from the Color Your World set.

I colored her with Copic markers and cut the image out using a Jaded Blossom Stitched Square die (also used one for the mat).  The sentiment is from JB's Lunch Box 2 sentiment set stamped on one of the new Label Dies.  The papers and gems are from Doodlebug Designs.

Clear it Out Challenge #90

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's time for our color challenge.  For this challenge we're asking for BROWN or KRAFT paper and accessories.  I love coloring digital and stamped images on Kraft paper.  It seems to give the project a unique look.  I colored this Sami Stamps image using Prisma pencils and a Tombow blender pen.
I cut out the mat using Lawn Fawn's stitched rectangles.  The brown rickrack and gems are from my stash as is the patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs.  The paper flowers are also from my stash.
I hope you'll join in our challenge being sponsored by

Cut It Up Challenge #77 ~ Animals

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I'm sharing my project for Cut It Challenge #77.  Along with a DIE CUT, we are asking for an ANIMAL on your project.

I couldn't resist this adorable Clifford svg file which was a freebie during an SVG Cutting Files.com blog hop.  Unfortunately it is no longer available.  I put Clifford on a goodie bag that is a die cut from Jaded Blossom.  So with this project I used both my Silhouette and Cuttlebug.

The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's For the Hostess stamp set. I used JB's Flag Dies for the sentiment mat.

Come on over to Cut it Up Challenges and join in the fun.

Clear it Out Challenge #89

Hi Crafty Friends

It's time for the ANYTHING GOES challenge at Clear it Out Challenge Blog.  That means you can use any theme and any stash item.
For this birthday card, I used a cupcake border punch that I've had for a long time.  I thought it was perfect with the patterned paper.

The image is from Digital Delights by Louby Loo, colored with Copic markers.  A Jaded Blossom sentiment, some hand cut flags and gems from my stash finished the card.

Come on over to Clear it Out and join in our Anything Goes challenge.
