Berry Sweet Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time for another Clear it Out Challenge.  For #105 we're asking that the project be "food" related and for the stash item use plaid (paper, ribbon, gingham)

I'm using Strawberry Delight by Robyn's Fetish.

My gingham paper is from the Bazzill Basics Red Devil pack.  I've used several Jaded Blossom products as well:
Stitched Circle Dies
Flag Dies
Bow Dies
Berrylicious stamp set

I colored the image with Copic Markers.

I hope you'll join in our challenge - always a good way to use what you have.

Froggy Hi

Hi Crafty Friends,

Challenge #90 is up at Cut it Up Challenge Blog.  We're  thinking leap year so, along with your die cut, please include a frog.

Our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps who provided the digital images for our projects.

I think this image is so much fun.  It's easy to color and the sentiment is built right in.
I've used the following dies from Jaded Blossom:
Goody Bag Die
Card Mat Die
Spring Dies

The papers are from a Lawn Fawn 6x6 pad.  I used Copic markers on the frog and added some Doodlebug Designs twine.

Come on over to Cut it Up Challenges and join in the fun.

I ♥ U Forever

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today is my day to share at Paper Crafting World.

I made a card using the file, Card-I ♥U Forever.
This file is on sale right now along with many other Valentine files.
I didn't make this card to be a Valentine, however.  By choosing a different color palette, it could be used for an anniversary or birthday sentiment.  What do you think?

All of the papers except the the glitter heart are from DCWV Rustic Stack.  I used my Silhouette to cut  and these papers cut like a dream.  I was worried about the diamond overlay with the sharp corners so I turned on the Line Segment Overcut option and set it to .1.  All the cuts were sharp and accurate.  I added some raffia ribbon and used foam dimensionals to pop several of the layers.

I'm really excited the way this card turned out!

Don't forget to join in our monthly challenge - add a heart.

Thanks for stopping in today.

Got Softball?

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time for a new release at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  This release is a combination of spring sports and Easter.  Lucky me, I got the Baseball Samantha image.
Of course, being the mom of two girls who received their college educations by earning softball scholarships, I had to make the image Softball Samantha!!!

The papers are from my stash along with the softball brad.  I used Jaded Blossom's Stitched Circle Dies for the mats.  The image was colored using Copic markers.

Here's a look at all of the release images.
You can find more design team creations HERE.

Our Delightful Challenge is still open.

Digital Delights Hostess Monday

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's my turn to post for Hostess Monday at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.
I am a Senior Designer and Team Two Coordinator.  I've been designing for Digital Delights for almost five years and I'm still in love with Wendy's fabulous images!

I decided to try a tri fold card but with a twist of using two windows then actually placing my image on the inside of the card.  It's based on an card design by Regina Easter.  I used an image from the January release, Huggy Bunny.

Here's my card:

Huggy Bunny

I used Jaded Blossom's Stitched Squares Dies for the windows.  I decided that with the paper layering not much embellishment was needed so I just added Doodlebug Designs glittered sparkles.  the image was colored using Copic markers.

I created my project for Shelly on the Die Cuttin' Divas team.
I wanted to send her a fun Cupid treat so here's my project.

This cute treat holder is the Scallop Caddy Die from Jaded Blossom.  I used the Hero Arts heart die set from their Valentine kit to make the shaker window (I'm in love with shaker cards now that I have the WRMK FUSE tool).  The sequins also came in the Hero Arts kit.  For the sentiment I die cut two flag dies from Jaded Blossom and used a sentiment from their Simple Sayings-Valentines set.  A little twine bow and some Love Glitter Sprinkles from Doodlebug Designs finished Cupid's treat.  Of course there's chocolate inside!!!

Your next stop is... LB

If you get lost along the way, here is the line-up....

Thanks for spreading the love!

Cut it Up Challenge #89

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's time for Cut it Up Challenge #89.  In celebration of Mardi Gras we're asking you to use a MASKING technique on your project.  And, don't forget the DIE CUT!!
I've used images from Darcie's "Hello Cupcake" set.
My die cuts include Nestabilities Postage Stamp dies and Jaded Blossom Border Dies.
I masked the cupcake in order to stamp the bear and I also left the postage stamp die on the paper after cutting and embossing so that I could ink the background but leave the white border.  I use my dies this way quite often.  The actual die makes a great mask!
I colored the images with Copic markers and added a little Spectrum Noir Sparkle to the sprinkles.  I added a twine bow and called it done.
You're invited to join in our challenge.  Be sure to use a die cut and a masking technique.  Just link your project HERE.
This challenge is sponsored by
They are offering a $20 store certificate.
Don't forget to hop along with the Cut it Up Challenge team and the Die Cuttin' Divas tomorrow.
The hop will go live at 5:00 AM EST.

Love Bandit!

Hi Crafty Friends,

Have you ever been down to the last minute for a project yet you still wanted it to be special?  That's where I was with this project.  The hubby had surgery and the days prior to and since have been pretty busy, but it's my design team day at Paper Crafting World and I knew I needed a project.
Thank goodness for PCW's amazing digital stamps that include both the line art and a pre colored version!!!  A little bit of layering, some twine with a gem, Glossy Accents, and Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens - that's all I added to this
Raccoon with Heart Digital Stamp (pre colored version) and here's my card . . .

This was truly a 10 minute make.  If you have more time, you can always color the image yourself.

Be sure to play along with our February challenge:
ANYTHING GOES with the option to add a heart.
