Kitty Bee DT Spotlight

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's my turn to share my Kitty Bee November Spotlight project using

Kitty Bee Designs Pleasantly Surprised Bear.

This is such a fun image to use.  You can use it for a birthday card but I decided to add to my Christmas card collection.  

The papers and embellishments are from Carta Bella's Christmas Delivery set (last year's).  I just love the plaid papers!

Always Fun Challenges #34 ~ Anything Goes

Hi Crafty Friends,
This week's Always Fun Challenge #34 is ANYTHING GOES.
I love Anything Goes challenges.  It helps me get projects for special friends completed while meeting my design team obligations.
In my determination to have all of my Christmas cards completed before December, I chose to make yet another holiday card.

I love using La-La Land Craft dies. Irina introduced me to using the white on white style using classic linen pearl card stock.  I spent an evening pulling out a lot of my Christmas dies and just cutting, cutting, cutting.  Then, with all of them laid out, I started creating cards - so much fun!!!

The Merry Christmas Challenge #44

Hi Crafty Friends,
I hope you've been finding lots of Christmas inspiration from the weekly posts on The Merry Christmas Challenge blog.
For my team post, I'm sharing a wine tag I made for my daughter's holiday gift giving. Actually, I made her and entire set but this one is for Christmas.

This is a great project to use your scraps on!  The wine tag base is from the Silhouette Design Store.  I think it's the Balloons tag - I just left off the balloons and added a Sizzix branch from a thinlits set.  I also added some Nuvo Chrystal Drops "berries", a sentiment tag and jute bow.  I think it will be a great addition to her wine gifts.

Paper Crafting World Design Team post

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's my last post of 2017 at Paper Crafting World.

I'm taking December off from this team so that I can complete the Christmas projects I have on my list and to simply enjoy my family.

I hope you are able to do the same.

Here's my card using Tag Lattice V4 Cut file.

All the card components were cut on my Silhouette.  The sentiment is from a die cut set I have.
I used Authentique papers and added a base so that it's a card rather than a tag.

Always Fun Challenge #33 ~ Thanksgiving

Hi Crafty Friends,
Are you ready for Thanksgiving?   We're having a very small celebration this year since our daughters will be together at Aly's (oldest daughter) home in Louisiana.
Our Always Fun Challenge this week is THANKSGIVING.
For my challenge project I made this simple card using some of the banners from Jaded Blossom's Fall Banner Dies - such a cute set!

OK, I have to admit, the sentiment tag was in my stash left over from some favors I made years ago.  I'm not even sure of the cut file - it may have been a Pazzles file (a machine I no longer have). But, I'm using my stash and that's a good thing, right?

Cut it Up Challenge #135 ~ Shape Card

Hi Crafty Friends, We're making shape cards on the Cut It Up Challenge Blog. I got an adorable file from our challenge sponsor, Fleurette Bloom called "Cutie Bugs."  I think they make adorable shape cards especially for the kiddos.

 I just duplicated the bottom petal and then welded the two to create an actual card that opens. Everything was done on the Silhouette. Here's a peek at the entire set.

My Besties International Challenge ~ Reminder

Today I'm posting a My Besties International Challenge reminder.

Here's my project using image 426.

I used patterned papers from Carta Bella's Hello Fall line.  The image mats are Jaded Blossom Stitched and Scallop Ovals dies.  The fence and fall leaves are La-La Land Crafts dies.  I colored the image using Copic markers.

Always Fun Challenge #32 ~ Pumpkins

For Always Fun Challenge #32 we'd like to see your pumpkins! 
Here's my project.

I LOVE this patterned paper set, Happy Fall by Carta Bella.  I decided to frame the pumpkins using Jaded Blossom Stitched Rectangle dies.  The sentiment is from JB's Fall Signs.   The pumpkins are from La-La Land Crafts (the set also comes with faces).  I added some Nuvo Chrystal Drops around the frame and a jute bow.

Aloha Friday Challenge #107 ~ Color Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's week 2 of Aloha Friday Challenge #107 ~ Color Challenge.   This means you still have time to enter!!
I'm using a cute image from one of our sponsors, My Besties.  This is image 830.

Along with Copic Markers, I also used dies from Jaded Blossom and La-La Land Crafts.

The Merry Christmas Challenge #42

Hi Crafty Friends,
I just love being on TMCC team.   For once, I may have most of my Christmas cards finished ahead of the rush.
I purchased an amazing  snowflake stamp from CAS-ual Fridays and used it to create this card.

I stamped the snowflakes on classic linen - gold pearl card stock and then heat embossed using silver sparkle.  The dies are from La-La-Land Crafts.  Once again is used some Mercury Glass card stock for the mat and added a few sequins to complete the card.

Christmas Joy

Hi Crafty Friends,
I'm sharing a simple yet elegant (I hope) Christmas card on the Paper Crafting World blog today.
I love the simplicity of this Poinsettia Silhoutte

I've used classic linen pearl papers in white and gold for the card base and mat.  I cut the poinsettia out of a pearlized red cover stock .  The sentiment is a La-La Land Crafts die which I cut from gold foil.  The polka dot paper if from the 6 x 6 stack, Gifts of Gold by Paper Studios (Hobby Lobby). I plan to multiples of this card for our holiday mailing.

Always Fun Challenge # 31

Hi Crafty Friends,
This week's theme for Always Fun Challenges is Water Colors.
I've been wanting to work with embossed stamping and water colors so here's the result of my efforts.

The stamp is Jaded Blossom's Poinsettia set which I stamped and then heat embossed with Gold Detail.  The I water colored using Distress Inks - so much fun! The sentiment is also heat embossed onto vellum using Jaded Blossom's Elegant Holiday Greetings.
The amazing gold/white mat card stock is the Mercury Glass stack from Hobby Lobby - I'm in love!

Cut It Up Challenge # 134 ~ Thank You Card

Hi Crafty Friends,
Time for another Cut It Up Challenge.  We're making Thank You cards for this challenge. Don't forget to include a die cut!!!

I had some fun stamping and embossing on this card.  I used Jaded Blossom's Autumn Leaves which I heat embossed after stamping.  The sentiment is a die from Altenew.  I used La-La Land Crafts adhesive foil and chipboard to give the die shine and dimension.  Finally I added Nuvo Glitter Drops.
