Pearly Sparkles May Challenge ~ Ribbons and Bows

Hi Crafty Friends,

Wow!  Can you believe it's May?
Being confined to home since February 15, I've lost track of days, weeks, and now months!  I am finally mobile (with a limp) after breaking my foot, but we are remaining sheltered in place until there's a better handle on Covid-19.  I have only been to the doctor while hubby has done weekly shopping and pharmacy runs at our local stores.
I will say that it feels good being able to get in my craft room and catch up with my design team projects

So, now it's time to share my May project for the Pearly Sparkles challenge - Ribbons and Bows.

The stamps and dies are from LaLa Land Crafts.  I colored Marci and the bee using Copic Markers.  The dies were cut using the Gemini Jr.  The ribbons are from American Crafts.

I hope you'll join our May challenge by sharing your ribbons and bows project to the link above.

Hats off to the Graduate!

Hi Crafty Friends,

We have some very special young people in our lives who are graduating so I turned to my Jaded Blossom stamps and dies to make them cards.  I chose a simple design that I can change up by using their different school colors.

Here's the original design.

I'll be making several more using different colors and accents.

Here are the Jaded Blossom stamps and dies I used:

Jaded Blossom Celebrates Earth Day

Hi Crafty Friends,

Time for another Jaded Blossom special April post.
Today we are celebrating Earth Day.

One small way to keep our Earth beautiful is to plant flower seeds.  Seeing the beauty in the flowers helps everyone keep a positive perspective, especially during these trying times.

I made a card and gift bag to hold seed packets.  It's a sweet way to share beauty.

I used the following Jaded Blossom products:
Seeds of Friendship stamp set
Smell the Flowers stamp set
Card Mat dies
Spring dies
Heart dies 2
Goody Bag die

Be sure to visit the Jaded Blossom blog (link above) for more Earth Day projects.

Cut it Up Challenge #198 ~ Our Beautiful Earth

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our Cut it Up challenge celebrates our beautiful earth.

I hope you are staying safe and well during this worldwide pandemic.  It's strange that during all this illness and fear, our cities are taking a break from the pollution that so often affects the air.  We are seeing clearer skies and brighter stars.

I created this mini shadow box featuring a quote from Lady Bird Johnson.

The background is a digital background from our sponsor, Digital Delights by Louby Loo.
I also used Jaded Blossom's Flower Dies and Scalloped Rectangles.  The World Heart is from LaLa Land Crafts.

Please follow the Cut it Up link above to join in our challenge.
The winner will receive a gift certificate from

Hi Crafty Friends,

Are you ready for the next challenge at Cut it Up Challenge Blog?
Our theme is Hopping Down the Bunny Trail/Easter.

Here's my card.

I created this card scene using die cuts from Jaded Blossom's Spring Dies, Fall Dies, and Mushroom Dies.
The eggs are from Pretty Pink Posh and the background paper is Doodlebug Designs.  The sentiment is from JB's Spring Signs.  I colored the eggs using Copic markers.

This challenge is being sponsored by Taylored Expressions.

Happy Easter Gnomie!

Hi Crafty Friends,

Finally!  I'm back to crafting, just in time for my Jaded Blossom Design Team day.

My broken foot is on the mend and I can now tolerate limited weight bearing allowing me to access some of my crafty goodies.  I missed the March release at Jaded Blossom so I'm excited to be able to use some of the new goodies.

Here's my project using the new Happy Easter Gnomie set.

I stamped the background using the single carrot from the set and then added some color using Prisma pencils.  The gnome was colored using Copic markers and then popped up on the background.  The sentiment is also from the set and I added carrots from Spring Banner Dies.

I hope you're safe during this trying time.  My thoughts are with the entire crafting community.
