Pearly Sparkles July Challenge ~ Favorite Time of Year

Hi Crafty Friends,
Welcome to our July Challenge at Pearly Sparkles.
We're asking to create something that represents your favorite time of year.I love when spring arrives, so fresh and new and not yet too hot!
For this challenge I made a Welcome to your new Home card for my daughter to leave for the sweet family that purchased her home.

The stamps and die cuts are all from LaLa Land Crafts, part of the spring box set but available separately on the website.  The layout and coloring was inspired by the design team samples.The card size is A7.  I used Copic Markers for coloring and cut all the dies using my Gemini Jr.

It's my day to share on the Jaded Blossom Blog.

Today I have a 70th Birthday card that I made for a friend of my hubby. The design is  an envelope and the message slides in and out using the pull tab.

I thought our new EXTINCT TAG was perfect for this card.

I also used BIRTHDAY WORD DIES, ALPHABET DIES 2, and GABLE BOX DIE.

I made this fun tag using another new stencil and stamp set.

I stamped VersaMark over the stencil then heat embossed so that the images would resist the ink.

Cut It Up Challenge #227 ~ Fun Fold or Shape Card

Hi Crafty Friends,
I have another Cut it Up Challenge for you.
Our projects for this challenge are fun folds or shape cards.Our sponsor, The Cutting Cafe, provided a cute Gnome Cut file for the design team to use.
Rather than making a shaped card, I used parts of the gnome file for my focal image on this Easel Card.  I love easel cards - they have dimension but fold down to fit an A2 envelope.

The papers are from an Echo Park coffee-themed set.  The banner, grasses, sentiment, mini coffee cup, and flag mats are from Jaded Blossom.
