Hi Crafty Friends,
Cut it Up Challenge Blog has a great new challenge for you this week.We want you to go back in time (prior to 2000) and share something that represents your decade.  It can be an image, icon, design, color scheme, whatever you think represents your chosen time period.
I've chosen the 80s!  I loved the positive thinking, bright colors and shapes, and overall fun times.

When I saw this sentiment I just couldn't get the Reggae beat out of my head so, with a suggestion from my daughter, I created this fun box card.  I was definitely singing while creating :)

Jaded Blossom August Release ~ Day 4

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's our final Jaded Blossom sneak peek for the August Release.

Here's my project using the final stamp set in our release.

For this fun little notepad cover, I used my Gemini Jr. to emboss the 80s Stencil using Color Core card stock and then sanded it to reveal the stencil.  I cut the glasses using glitter card stock and then layered them onto chip board cut outs to add dimension. Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens were used to make the sentiment pop and add sparkle to the background. Finally, I colored the images using Copic markers.
