Pumpkin Carving

Hello Crafty Friends,
Today I'm sharing one more Halloween card. It's my design team day on the Paper Crafting World Blog.  Today I'm using the Bear Carving Pumpkin digital stamp from Paper Crafting World.
This is such a cute image and fun to color.

I colored my bear using Copic Markers.  The paper is "Orange Dot" from Little Yellow Bicycle.  The flower, button, brads and ribbon are all from my stash.  I added Smooch to the flower veins and tips and used Crafter's Spools for the bow.

Winged Things

The new challenge at Delightful Challenges is Winged Things.  There a so many ways to interpret this theme.  I used an adorable image from Digital Delights by Louby Loo's Jubbly Animals set.

This is Jubbly Dragon.  Wouldn't she made an adorable friend?

The papers are all from my stash as is the rick rack.  I handcut the sentiment flags and punched the circles - easy peasy card (which is good since I had to schedule the post early as I'll be in Texas with my daughter for a week).  The sentiment is from Digital Delights' Keeping in Touch sentiment set.

Join in our challenge at Delightful Challenges for a chance to win a $15 gift card from this week's sponsor

Treats Only!

Hello Crafty Friends,

For today's project I used a cut file from Paper Crafting World to make a door sign for my daughter's office.  She's a softball coach and her players often drop in since they know she keeps treats for them.  I think this sign will be perfect for Halloween.

I cut this project using my Cameo.  The PCW cut files come in many formats so they're easy to cut with whatever electronic cutter you may have.  This file cut like a dream on the Cameo.

Here's the file that can be found in the PCW store HERE.

Hope you're having a great week.  Thanks for stopping by.

It's Apple Picking Time!

Hello Crafty Friends,
It's my design team day at Digi My World.  Today I'm sharing one of the images from the

I chose the bushel basket of apples image because hubs and I just spent the day at Apple Hill and came home with bags of juicy apples and lots of apple baked goods - YUM!

This card is on a 5 x 7 card base.

Here's a close-up of the image - she's so cute!!

Supplies used for this project:
Paper: Creative Imaginations and Bo Bunny Vintage Dots
Digital Stamp: Apple Picking Set
Markers: Copics
Dies:  Spellbinders Wonky Rectangles
Stamp:  Autumn Splendor set by Bug Bites

My First Cameo Project!

Good Morning Everyone,

I'm so excited to share this card because it's the first project that I've made using my Silhouette Cameo - woohoo!  I imported the jpeg digital stamp and did a print and cut.  Fussy cutting is not my favorite thing to do so having the Cameo do it for me is fabulous.  I also designed the sentiment with the colored shadow.  It is a print and cut as well.  Next on the desk - cut files!!!

Today is my design team day on the Paper Crafting World Design Team Blog.  The PCW image I used is the Pumpkin N Flowers digital printable.

I decided to use Prima flowers with Stickles centers to add a little more dimension to the image.  The lattice is a Spellbinders die.

I'm so glad you stopped by today.  I'll be back tomorrow with another fall project.

Distressed!

No, I'm not distressed LOL.  That's the theme for this week's challenge at Delightful Challenges.
We want you to grunge it, tear it, ink it, score it, whatever you like to do to add a little distressing to your project.  I spritzed my papers with water and then used the CTMH distressing tool to rough up all the edges.  Then, after everything was adhered, I rolled the distressed edges with my finger.

The image I chose is the Camping Scene from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

I used Copic Markers to color the scene and added a sentiment from an Inky Attic stamp set. I thought the frayed burlap provided the needed embellishment.

I'd love to have you join in our challenge.  This week's prize is being offered by our own

Just link your project to the Delightful Challenges blog HERE.

Halloween Treats

Good Morning Crafty Friends,
Woohoo!  Today is my debut as a designer for Digi My World.

For my first project, I decided to make a set of Halloween Treats.

This Candy Tube Holder is a cut file from SVGCutting Files.  It holds two CTMH candy tubes.  The image is one of the adorable witches from Digi My World's No Fraidy Cats set.

On the back, I used the ghost from DMW's Halloween Tags set.

Next I used another Halloween Tag for this lollipop cover which is another cut file from SVG Cutting files called Kawaii Sailing Summer Lollipop Cover.

And finally I used more of the Halloween Tags to make this card.

Thanks for stopping in today.  I'm really looking forward to sharing more adorable images from
Digi My World.  I'll be posting on the DMW blog on Wednesdays.

A "Special" Card from Artbooking

Hello Crafty Friends,
I'd like to share a card I made using the newest
Close To My Heart cartridge, Artbooking.

Although I LOVE coloring digi stamps, my card making journey began with the Cricut and I still love using my cartridges and my E2.  The cartridges that are CTMH exclusives have to be among my favorites and this newest one is fabulous.  It is a scrapbooker's dream but can easily be modified to create wonderful cards.

The damask design can be found on page 46.  I used my E2 so I placed a 3.75x5 mat on the screen and then scaled my cuts to fit.  The overlay is on page 47 along with the sentiment.
The papers are from the DCWV Lavender Chateau Stack

The leaves are the Martha Stewart leaf punch.  I traced inside the damask with an atYou Spica glitter pen and then added pearls from Recollections.

I used the same glitter pen to trace around the sentiment since I wasn't using my Gypsy or CCR, I had no way to create a shadow.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I really loved sharing something from my Cricut - it's still one of my favorite crafting tools.

An Artist in Need!

Hello Crafty Friends,
Today's post is a very special one in which I'm asking for your help.  If you read my Facebook posts you may already know that the crafting/art community is coming together to help support Guy Gondron who is battling a condition that has resulted from his first fight with cancer.  Upon this second diagnosis, Guy lost his job and his insurance!!!  While he is jumping through hoops trying to get help, he is selling much of his artwork.  I met Guy through the Copic Marker Scrapbooking design team.  He created many of the digital sets that we used.  His art is quite unique from a cardmaker's standpoint; actually, quite amazing.  Coloring Guy's images made me stretch as a Copic designer and I always appreciated the challenge.
Anyway, awhile back Guy created a set of images for a special little girl.  The images are of her "Lovey", Stinky.  Her very special friend.   He is now selling these images through his Etsy store HERE.  If you are willing to visit this link and purchase the set, it will be so very appreciated!!!
Here are two cards I created using Guy's Stinky images.
First, let's take a look at the real Stinky:

My cards:

There are 7 images in the set and he's selling it for $5.
While on his site, you'll see more of his artwork for sale.
You can read more about Stinky and also find a "Donate" button on Guy's blog:
Work in Progress.
Thank you so much for visiting.  I hope you'll consider offering this amazing artist some much needed help.

Pumpkin Smiles

Good Morning!  It's Tuesday so it's my turn to share a project with you using a digital printable file from

Today I'm using Pumpkin Smiley - this pumpkin is so cute, it just makes me smile.
I printed the image and then fussy cut it so I could pop it up on the mat.  All of the papers are from my Halloween stash.  The banners are hand cut and then I added a little stitching using a white Signo pen.
The sentiment, from the Bug Bites Ghostly Greetings set, was stamped and then heat embossed so it would really stand out. Pumpkin Smiles was colored with Copic Markers.

Hopefully I won't have to fussy cute my images much longer.  I've ordered a Cameo and it should arrive this week - woohoo!  I've been watching videos and have already downloaded and upgraded the software and have 4 or 5 files ready to print and cut - not too excited, right?

Here's the image I used for this card:
Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope your October is off to a wonderfully crafty start.
