Good News to Share!

After two trips to Texas, I think I'm finally getting back into the crafty swing of things.
And in doing so, I have some exciting news to share.
I've been chosen to do two Guest Designer spots this fall.

In October I'll be designing for

I currently design for Annie's Digi blog, Digi My World, but being able to use her fabulous cut files is just beyond exciting.

Then, in November I'll be designing for

I love, love, love Candace and Michelle's stamps, dies, and favor items.
They've become my new crafting obsession!

Just wanted to share my good news.

Patriotic Theme at Open-Minded Crafting Fun

Today is my final post for the Open-Minded Crafting Fun design team.  It's been a wonderful term and I've loved being able to use so many different images from some amazing digital artists.  I hope you'll continue to follow OMCF and the new design team - they share such a wide variety of digital images and styles - so much fun.
My image sponsor for this Patriotic challenge is Beansie Doodle.  I've chosen the Super Hero Mystical Maxine image.
I think Maxine is ready to take on anyone who messes with the USA!
The papers are Authentique.  I used a Sizzix die for the scalloped oval and a punch for the stars.  I hand cut the flag banners and colored the image with Copics.
We have four sponsors for this week's challenge which means you have four chances to win.  Just link your Patriotic creation to Open-Minded Crafting Fun.
Challenge sponsors:

I'd like to thank Susan and Vicky for allowing me to design for this amazing challenge blog.  These two ladies are so dedicated and organized - it's been a pleasure being on their inaugural team.  I wish you continued success with OMCF!!!

Ice Cream Time

Good Morning Crafty Friends,
I'm so sorry that I haven't been posting regularly.  I've been in Texas helping my daughter get ready to move back to California.  We've been packing, staging her home to sell, having a yard sale, and then the long drive back to CA.  We're here now and I'm hoping to get back on my normal crafting and posting schedule.

Today's my design team day on the Digi My World design team blog.   Here is a cute summer digi from Digi My World.  This image is from the Ice Cream Cart set.

Congratulations, Graduate

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's my design team day on the Digi My World design team blog.  I'd like to share a
cute graduation image from Digi My World.  This cutie is from the The Class of ___ set.

Here's what the set looks like.

If you're not into coloring digital images, you can also get this set as clip art.  Just print and cut (by hand or machine) and you're on your way.

The papers and ribbon are from my stash.  I colored the image with Copics and added the marbleized background to bring out the focal image a little more.

Thanks for stopping by.
