Layer It!

It's time for another Delightful Challenge.  This week's challenge uses one of my favorite techniques, layering.  I love, love, love selecting papers and layering different mats to enhance my paper choices.  Today I'm using the Pelican Set from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

I found this paper with the seagulls in my stash so other than the wave border punch, I didn't have to embellish the card.  To go with today's challenge, I layered the mats, the waves, and then popped up the sentiment and pelican.  As always, I used Copic markers for my images.

So Proud of You

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I'm sharing a cute little back to school treat I made using an image from the Bushel of Memories set from Digi My World.

Bushel of Memories
You can find the digi set HERE

I colored the image with Copic markers and attached it to a goody filled gusset bag from
Jaded Blossom.  I also used Jaded Blossom's Mini Tag Dies 2Fancy Topper Die, and a sentiment from the JB's Fitness Junkie stamp set.

I hope you'll stop by the Digi My World Design Team blog to see more adorable digi creations.

Happy Birthday

Today I'm sharing some cards I've made for two special birthdays.
The first one is a 13th birthday card for a youngster we've watched grow up.  He loves the outdoors and all things nature.
This adorable tree frog is a file from SVG Cutting Files as is the rounded top card base.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's So Many Birthdays set stamped onto a banner from the new Mini Tag Dies 2 set.  The papers are from my paper stash.
The next card is for his sister's 18th birthday.  She loves all things Cowboy/Cowgirl so the DCWV Yee Haw paper stack was perfect along with this cute image from Great Impressions stamp co.
I colored the image with Copics and decided the horseshoe from Jaded Blossom's St. Patrick's Day die set was the perfect embellishment.    I also used JB's gift card die on the inside.  This is such a great die to have on hand.

I love making cards especially for the special people in our lives.
Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you're having a wonderful day.

I've colored the image with Copics and then added Wink of Stella Brush glitter to the frosting.
The papers are my go-to Grade School stack from DCWV.  I also added American Crafts ribbon, a wooden apple button with a touch of Copic marker, and a paper clip that my daughter left on my desk LOL!  The border punch is EKSuccess.

Happy Birthday for a Golfer

Hi Crafty Friends,
I made this card for my brother-in-law's birthday.  He LOVES to play golf.  His birthday was last month but quite literally my husband's puppy got into my craft file and ATE the images I had printed!!!  Good thing she left the card base LOL!

Anyway, these cute images are from Digital Delights by Louby Loo:  Golfing Jimmie and Golf Background.  The card base and mats are from the Circle Trio Card Base set from SVG Cutting Files.  I used my Copic markers to color both images.  I used the print and cut feature on the Silhouette to cut out golfing Jimmie.

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend.
