Elf Hugs & Kisses
Today is my final post as October's Guest Designer at SVG Cutting Files. I want to thank Ann for giving me the opportunity to work with her amazing files and to share them with you. I also want to thank the Design Team for their constant inspiration. They always design the most fantastic and creative projects. For my final project I wanted to create a Christmas treat.

Hi Pumpkin
Hi Crafty Friends,
So glad you're here for my Digi My World design team post.
I just love this time of year - amazing colors, cool (but not cold) weather, and my favorite holidays just around the corner.
I just love this time of year - amazing colors, cool (but not cold) weather, and my favorite holidays just around the corner.
Today I made a card using one of the images from the Garden Girl Penny set.
Here's the entire set -
I colored Penny with Copic markers and then added some pumpkins from Jaded Blossom's Fall Dies and a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Let's Talk Turkey set. The bow is twine and Crafter's Spools with a Doodlebug Design sequin.
Thanks for stopping by.

More Squarey Monsters
Hi Crafty Friends,
I'm posting another Guest Designer spot on SVG Cutting Files Blog. I have more Squarey Monsters for you. I hope you've been checking the store to see the newest Squarey Monsters being added almost daily.
Did you know that every Squarey has a story? I'll share two of them today.
My first Squarey Monster is Browzer.
My first Squarey Monster is Browzer.
Browzer is a robotic pet of the robotic monsters from Wonky Island. These pets are good for environmental purposes. Browzer uses his scanner eye to find the greenest products, especially packaging made from recycled materials. Keeping Browzer's story in mind, I chose to recycle a coffee drink bottle and fill it with Jolly Ranchers. I think this makes a cute little gift. I used Jaded Blossom's Treat Tag die, Mini Tag Dies 2 and a stamp from Got Candy.
And this is Alex E.
Alex E is a Snailien. He was sent in search of salty planets and he finds Earth to be deliciously salty! The reason it's "lucky" to throw salt over your shoulder is because if Alex E is sneaking up behind you he'd much rather eat the salt than devour you. To keep Alex E satisfied, I also used the Salt and Pepper cut file. For the card, I used Jaded Blossom's Card Mat Dies, Mini Tag Dies 2 and a stamp from Miscellaneous Fun.
Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to visit Squarey Monsters on Facebook.

Fight for a Cure
Today is my second post as Guest Designer for SVG Cutting Files.
October is Cancer Awareness month. Although most of the attention is on a cure for breast cancer, we must remember that there are so many other types that need attention and funding in order to find a cure. The fight to cure Ovarian Cancer is very close to my heart. I lost my sister-in-law who was also my best friend to ovarian cancer. She fought such a valiant battle - I was with her for every appointment and treatment her final year. I wouldn't trade her final months for anything as we laughed on her good days and cried for what was to come. So, in order to honor her, I chose to use the teal ribbon for my project. My nephew, her youngest son is a captain in the fire department. They painted one of their trucks pink to send the awareness message but they added a huge banner that reads "ALL PEOPLE, ALL CANCERS" and that is my message as well.
Here's my project:

A Treat for You
Today is my design team day at Digi My World. I'm sharing one image from a really cute Halloween file called No Fraidy Cats. I put this little witch on the outside of SVG Cutting File's Decorative Edge Box which was made to fit Jaded Blossom's gusset bag perfectly.
I also used Jaded Blossom's Dainty Topper Die and a sentiment from the Halloween Poop 2 stamp set. The little bow was tied with Twendy Twine and I used Copics to color the image.
I designed this project with Jaded Blossom's October challenge in mind: Anything Halloween.
Thanks for stopping by.

It's a Squarey Monster!
Hi Crafty Friends,
Today is my first day as the Guest Designer at SVG Cutting Files. As you know, I design for Annie's digi/clip art blog, Digi My World, and now I get a chance to share her wonderful SVG Cutting Files with you for an entire month! I'm fairly new to using SVG files (have been a Cricut gal for years!) and I'm loving every minute I get to spend using my Silhouette.
The month of October will be largely devoted to introducing you to Annie's newest licensed product,
Squarey Monsters!! These little guys/gals/monsters are so much fun. I'd like you to meet two of these delightful monsters who will be available in the store on Friday.
First up is Melon E4, all ready to share a yummy treat.
And next is Lure. I'm sure Lure would love to follow you home!
Other SVG Cutting Files used:
Jaded Blossom products used:
Cheesy Pick Ups (not available at this time - see Cheesy Pick Ups 2)
The fence, vines and watermelons are from the Silhouette Online Store. I also used the Martha Stewart Drippy Goo border punch, my own handmade crinkle ribbon, gems, and Scrapper's Spools.
I'm sure you'll love these wonderful Squarey Monsters. You'll be meeting a lot of them this month on the SVG Cutting Files Blog.
You can also visit the Squarey Monster Facebook page HERE.
Thanks for stopping by. I'll be sharing more of Annie's SVG's next Sunday.
