Hi Crafty Friends,
I have spent a large part of this week cleaning, sorting, and rearranging my craft room. I finally have enough space to have three small work areas and enough shelving for the majority of my crafting goodies. I'm the type that likes to have everything labeled but in full view otherwise it's forgotten.
I knew I had been saving Frap bottles, just wasn't sure where. When I found them, I knew I had the perfect thing for this week's ANYTHING BUT A CARD challenge at
Always Fun Challenges.
A special friend is having a birthday and LOVES cinnamon candies so here's my little gift to her.
This stamp and sentiment is from Darcies. I used Jaded Blossom's Wine Tag die set and Tropical Flower Die set as well. I colored using Copics and then added some sequins and tulle. I know she'll love the sentiment.
I hope you'll join our Always Fun Challenge this week. Just follow the link above.
Hi Crafty Friends,
Well, after almost three weeks away from my craft room I'm finally back. I was in Louisiana helping my daughter settle into her new home. I didn't even take my computer because we were without internet until the very last day! All my posts had been prescheduled up until this one.
Today's post is for Cut It Challenge #127 FRIENDSHIP.
For this card I used Jaded Blossom Coffee Dies and Card Mat Dies. The stamp is from JB's Java Time set. The papers are Doodlebug Designs Cream and Sugar. Finally, I added Doodlebug Designs twine and glitter Sprinkles.

Hi Crafty Friends,
Our Always Fun Challenge this week is a color inspiration challenge.
Don't you love it when you're looking through your stash and you find a set of papers and embellishments that are the perfect color combination AND it comes with just the right add-ons? There are those crafty times when you want to make something the requires little time or planning.
Here's my card using a an older Bo Bunny set I've had in my stash for quite awhile. All I added was ribbon, a card mat and some bling.
This is our color inspiration (which happens to have some of my favorite colors!)

Hi Crafty Friends,
The challenge for Always Fun Challenges #15 is Paper Piecing.
I made this 6 x 6 mini album page using punched flowers and a border and then embellished with ribbons - quick, easy, and cute. It just needs a special summer memory picture. Small album pages are far less intimidating than 12 x 12s, especially to a card maker LOL.
Come on over (click the link above) and join this week's challenge.
Hi Crafty Friends,
Today is a reminder that you still have time to enter My Besties International Challenge July Challenge. The theme is Anything Goes with the option of using Glitz, Glam, and Glitter - that's always fun, right?
Here's my reminder project using one of the Knobby Knee Besties found HERE.
Isn't she cute. I glammed her up using Stickles on her bow/bone and also around the floral mat edge.
I colored using copic markers and used Jaded Blossom's Flower Dies and Scalloped Ovals.
You can join our challenge by using the link above. Remember, you may use ANY image by ANY artist. We look forward to seeing what you share.
Hi Crafty Friends,
Woohoo! One Christmas card completed!!!
Cut It Up Challenge #126 is Christmas in July and with the fabulous files provided by our sponsor, The Cutting Cafe, it's easy to get off to a great start.
Here's my card.
I turned this file into a shaker card by placing a piece of acetate behind the "Joy" and then popping up the card by surrounding the sentiment with dimensional tape to make a pocket for the sequins. I finished the card by adding the red cord.
We were given the Christmas Card Fun file which can be found HERE.
There are 12 different cards and 17 sentiments in the set.
Thank you so much Regina for our wonderful files.

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today's project is for the Always Fun Challenge #14, Anything Goes.
My daughter just moved to Louisiana and I wanted to make her a special card because I know she is missing the family right now. Aly graduated from the University of Arkansas and then coached softball there for 5 years. She is a true Razorback (even though she's living in Tiger country) so I always try to find or create things with piggies. This adorable stamp and sentiment is from
Craftin Desert Diva's Just Pigcause stamp set.
My patterned papers are Authentique and Bo Bunny Double Dots. The edges were cut using a Jaded Blossom Border Die 2. I colored the image using Copic markers.

Hi Crafty Friends,
I know, I know, you thought I only made cards! Well there are those times when I do create a simple page layout (emphasis on simple).
It's my turn to share on the Paper Crafting World design team blog and I chose this fun page layout cut file from Paper Crafting World called "Sweet Summer Title".
Here's my 12 x 12 layout.
I cut the file on my Silhouette (it was already sized to fit a 12 x 12 layout) and just added the mat for a 4x6 photo and then tore the edge of some tan paper to make the sand - easy peasy. I've had the background paper for ages so I can't even tell you the manufacturer.
Thanks for stopping in today.
Hi Crafty Friends,
This is the month to celebrate America and I have one final patriotic project for you.
Our Always Fun Challenge theme is Patriotic so I got out several of my Jaded Blossom stamp sets and had fun creating this for you. I have challenged myself to use my stamps in more artistic ways rather than just always for sentiments. As a Copic colorist at heart, this is new ground for me LOL.
Here's my card.
To create the background I used JB's Party Splatters. The outline stamp is from the 50 States set and the sentiment is from the Celebrate America set. I added some sequins and washi tape to add a little more embellishment. The patterned paper was in my stash. I think it's Echo Park and the mat is
Bo Bunny Double dots (still one of my favorite card stocks!)
Why don't you join us for our Patriotic Challenge. Just follow the link above.
Hi Crafty Friends,
It's time for a new challenge at My Besties International.
This month's optional theme is Sparkle, Glam, and Glitter.
Remember that you may use ANY image from ANY artist; it doesn't have to be a Bestie to enter.
Here's my project.
Isn't she fun? Definitely a glamour gal! You can find the image HERE.
My patterned papers are from an older DCWV stack called Lemon Flower. I also used classic linen pearl and classic linen gold to cut some of the dies. The die cuts are from La-La Land Crafts. I colored this Fashionista using Copic markers. I also added some Spectrum Noir Sparkle.
