Hi Crafty Friends,

I'm up today for my Kitty Bee DT Spotlight.

I used Doodlebug Designs papers to make this happy summer card.  It features
the Cool Froggie image from the Kitty Bee Etsy shop.

I cut the image using my Scan N Cut2 and then colored using Copic markers.

Always Fun Challenge #73 ~ Back to School

Hi Crafty Friends,

We're celebrating Back to School at Always Fun Challenges.

I used Jaded Blossom's wine tags and Back to School dies to make this cute little tag that can be attached to a bag of treats or supplies.

I love these papers from Echo Park.  I cut all the dies using my Gemini Jr. Love that cutting machine!

I hope you'll join for this week's challenge.

My Time to Craft Challenge #378 ~ Christmas in August

Hi Crafty Friends,

I'm loving these Christmas challenges so I can stay ahead of the holiday panic!

My Time to Craft is celebrating Christmas in August.

This is another version of an Eclipse card.  I used Jaded Blossom's Christmas dies to cut the holly leaves and berries.  I cut multiples of the leaves in white in order to have the card mat negative and also extras to stack for the eclipse effect.  Then I added the green leaves and berries to the top and placed the stack back into the negative space - there you go, a shape eclipse.  A simple greeting and it's ready to share.

Kitty Bee Designs ~ Aloha Friday Challenge #125

Hi Crafty Friends,

This is your Aloha Friday Challenge mid-inspiration reminder post.

We're having a Birthday challenge this time and I used an image from our sponsor,
Scrap N' Dipity called Birthday Bear.

I colored this cutie using Copic markers and added a few embellishments to make it special.  The patterned paper and banner was in my birthday stash.

You still have time to enter our birthday challenge.  Just follow the link above.

Cut it Up Challenge #155 ~ ABCs and 123s

Hi Crafty Friends,
With kiddos heading back to school, we're thinking ABCs and 123s at Cut it Up Challenges.
Your project doesn't have to be school related as long as you use letters and numbers in some way.
I've been wanting to make an Eclipse card for a very long time but I don't have large enough letter dies.  No problem, my Silhouette to the rescue and it really made the entire process easy.
I used papers from an old DCWV stack called Rustic.  Along with cutting the card base with the letters, I also cut 5 extra of each letter using a heavy white card stock.  I used a CTMH broad tip glue pen to layer the letters placing the patterned letter on the top.  Then, I just adhered each stack back into the negative part of the card mat.  The "est" and numbers were cut using Jaded Blossoms letter die sets.  The arrows were also cut from a die.
This will be my daughter's married name so it was fun to create.
Our sponsor for this challenge is
Heartfelt Creations.  I hope you'll enter for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate.

Always Fun Challenge #72 ~ Tags

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our Always Fun Challenge this week is TAGS.  I know you love to make tags.  They are quick and add just the right touch to a gift.

I made this cute little tag using a tag die from Cas-ual Fridays and the coffee cup from Jaded Blossom.  Just a little twine and a sentiment and it's ready for giving.

I hope you'll join this week's challenge. Follow the link above and show us you tag ideas.

The Merry Christmas Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends,

Woohoo, another Christmas card completed (I may not have that last minute holiday card panic this year!) for this month's The Merry Christmas Challenge.

Remember we have changed our challenge to monthly from now through December.  You'll find the design team's projects posted on the 15th.  Just follow the link above.

Here's a CAS card I designed for this month.  Right now I'm designing cards that will be easy to make multiples with changes in the background to make them different.

Just some matting and a greeting that I die cut using foiled paper makes a simple holiday card.

Thanks for stopping in.  I hope you'll join our challenge.

Always Fun Challenges #71 ~ Going Round in Circles

Hi Crafty Friends,

Wow, this challenge describes me quite well especially with our daughter's wedding only a few weeks away!  I actually made a birthday card for my sister-in-law for this challenge.

I used Jaded Blossom Stitched and Scallop Circle dies to creat this shape card.  The patterned papers and stickers are from Doodlebug Designs new Hello line - so bright and fun.
I cut the shapes using my Gemini Jr.

I hope you'll join our Always Fun Challenge.

A New Team and a New Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends,

Yes, I'm designing for a new team.  I've joined my dear crafty friend, Shell Shearer Swinscoe on her challenge blog, My Time to Craft.

I'll be posting with her team every other Saturday.
I'm beginning with Challenge #377 ~ More Than One Fold

Every year we receive a case of Walla Walla Sweet Onions from some great friends in WA.  Their daughter played for our daughter when she was coaching at Texas Tech University.  I always try to create something with an onion for the thank you card.  After 7 years it's getting difficult to find new cut files so this year I created my own patterned paper to add to this Z-fold card.  I hope they like it.

So come on over to my newest design home and join in our challenge.  Just follow the link above.

Cut it Up Challenge Blog - challenge #154~Use Your Favorite Color

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our "Use your Favorite Color" challenge has started at Cut it Up Challenge Blog.

I have lots of favorite colors but right now with my daughter's wedding coming up I'm focusing on their colors of blue and soft orange.  Awhile back I shared an adorable teapot I made using Ink on 3s Pansy Tea Party 3D SVG kit

 Today I'm adding the teacup.

Here's both projects together.

This is such a fun set.  I also includes a flowered dome lid for the teacup and an adorable purse.
I hope you'll visit our sponsor's blog to see more of her creative offerings.

I cut these projects using my Silhouette using the file as is.  They were easy to assemble as long as you have a strong, fast drying adhesive.  I used Art Glitter Adhesive and it worked very well.

Come on over to Cut it Up and share your favorite color.

Always Fun Challenge # 70 ~ Let it Sparkle

Hi Crafty Friends,

Time to get your Sparkle on for Always Fun Challenge #70.

I had fun adding Stickles to these cute balloon cuts from Jaded Blossom.

I used Doodlebug Designs papers and some AC sparkly glitter tape.
The sentiment is also from Jaded Blossom, So Many Birthdays 3.

I hope you'll join in this week's fun.  We all need to add a little sparkle to our lives.
