My Time to Craft #387 ~ Something New

Hi Crafty Friends,
Our challenge at My Time to Craft is Something New.  You can celebrate something new (home, baby, friend, etc.) or you can use something new.
I have purchased so many new dies over the last month and I just can't wait to use them so for my project I'm using my new La La Land Craft Club dies for December:  Retro telephone, and HELLO.
I think this Doodlebug Designs paper is the perfect background!
I hope you'll join our challenge by sharing SOMETHING NEW with us.

Cut it Up Challenge # 164 ~ New Year's Resolutions

Hi Crafty Friends,
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year!
For last year's "Resolutions" challenge at Cut it Up Challenges I pledged to use my crafty planner to keep myself organized.  I want you to know that I have kept that resolution so I'm ready to share my new one for 2019.  I have been a designer on a Christmas card challenge team.  When it came time to mail out my cards there was no last minute scramble to have a card for everyone on our list.  I was so happy.  So, even though that particular challenge blog has closed down, my resolution is to continue to make Christmas cards throughout the year.
Here's my first Christmas card for next year's stash using one of the Xmas Mice digi images from our sponsor, Kitten Scraps.
The image was colored with Copic markers.  I used Jaded Blossom's stitched rectangles for the mats and La La Land Crafts Christmas trees to embellish.
Follow the Cut it Up Challenge link above to join in our New Year's Resolutions/Goals challenge.
Don't forget to use a die cut!
Wishing you a very Happy New Year 2019!

Kitty Bee Designs ~ DT Spotlight

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I'm sharing my December spotlight project for Kitty Bee Designs using Snow Penguin.

I just love this cute image!  I die cut the octagon from the mat and added dimensional tape to pop the layer up on the card base.  Then I flipped the cut out over and popped the image on it before adding it back into the mat. The Octagon dies are from Jaded Blossom. I used Copic markers to color the image and added some sparkle to the pom poms and snowball using Stickles Frosted Lace.  The sentiment is also from Jaded Blossom stamped onto a flag die from LaLa Land Crafts.

This is my final spotlight for Kitty Bee Designs.  I have loved sharing all of these fabulous images and am so thankful to Kel for allowing me to be a member of the design team.

I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Aloha Friday Challenge for Kitty Bee Designs ~ #133 Santa's Helpers

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today is my final Aloha Friday Challenge for Kitty Bee Designs.
This is the mid inspiration post so you still have to enter the challenge.
It's been a pleasure designing for Kitty Bee Designs using both the Kitty Bee Original designs and those from our sponsors.

For today's challenge I've used an image from the set 3 Funny Elves by Mmedel Illustrations.

I colored using Copic markers.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom stamped onto a die cut from the JB Word Bubbles set.

My Time to Craft #385

Hi Crafty Friends,

Don't you love cards with unique folds?
Our theme for this My Time to Craft Challenge is "more than one fold." (no easel cards)

I only used one fold but I used it in a slightly different way by extending the image beyond the panel
(I hope that counts!)

I stamped this La La Land Crafts Winter Bear image onto watercolor paper and then cut it out using a Jaded Blossom stitched circle die.  I used Spectrum Noir color tint pencils and a water pen brush to color the image and then mounted it on a Jaded Blossom scalloped circle die.

I added the snowflake border and sentiment, both from La La Land Crafts.

I hope you'll join in our challenge.  Just follow the link above.

Cut it Up Challenge #164 ~ Holiday Tic Tac Toe

Hi Crafty Friends,
Are you still working on holiday projects?
I still have a few more I want to complete.  This Tic Tac Toe challenge for Cut it Up Challenges is fun because I was able to use some new dies and finish the last few Christmas cards I needed before mailing all of them out.
Our challenge is to follow the Tic Tac Toe board (posted below) and don't forget to use a die cut!

I went diagonally using Twine, Red, and Gems.  The die cuts are from La La Land Crafts - some of my favorites!  I think the twine bow and simple gems finished this card perfectly!

Here's the Tic Tac Toe Board for you to use:
