The Male Room June Challenge ~ Outdoors

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our monthly challenge for June is live!
This month's theme is OUTDOORS.

I've created a pop out card using a design inspired by Jennifer Mcguire.

The image is Loon Scene by Whimsy Stamps colored using Copic Markers.  The sentiment is from Altenew's Mini Sentiments 3D embossing folder.

We'd love to have you join us.  Add your "outdoors" project to

A Little Coloring Fun

Hi Crafty Friends,

I was at an all-day crop at my LCC and spent most of my time coloring.  I'm "training" for some marathon coloring so that I'll be in shape for Jennifer Dove's Copic Boot Camp in November.  That will be 4 straight days of coloring, coloring, coloring.  For Boot Camp we can reserve times with a masseuse - what does that tell you???  I can't wait.

Anyway, here are two projects I created using CC Designs/DoveArt stamps which were designed by Jennifer Dove.

This stamp is Making a List.  I just love this traditional style Santa.

This is Cardinal Birdhouse.
Since I took the pictures with my phone during the crop and didn't edit, you might not notice that I used Stardust Stickles for the snow.  When I color this image again, I'll used Frosted Lace instead.  Jennifer's stamps are so much fun to color.  I'm so excited for Boot Camp and can't wait to meet her in person and learn firsthand her amazing coloring techniques.

Shop Til You Drop

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time for the Delightful Monthly Challenge #10.
The theme is always ANYTHING GOES using a stamped image - digital or rubber.

For my project I've used Shopping Bella Boo from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

I thought she would be perfect for a gift card holder.  I used Jaded Blossom's Folding Gift Card Die.  I also used the Stitched Circle Die and Spring Dies 2 for the sentiment.  The sentiment comes with the digi set.  The image was colored using Copic markers.

Please follow the link above and join in our challenge.  You have 3 weeks to link your entry.

Sending Warm Winter Wishes

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's time for another Digital Delights Monthly Challenge.  It's always ANYTHING GOES but you must use a stamp (digital or rubber).
My project uses Chimney Cat from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  I also used the Sending Warm Winter Wishes sentiment.

I colored with Copic markers adding Frosted Lace Stickles for the snow and fur on the hat.  I created the rooftop using Jaded Blossom's Border dies and Winter dies.  The patterned paper is from Doodlebug Designs as are the sequins.  I also added Frosted Lace Stickles to the rooftop and puffy embossing powder (heat set) to the icicles.

You can join our challenge HERE or by clicking the button on my sidebar.  This challenge will be open for THREE weeks since there's an extra Thursday in October.
Looking forward to seeing your project!!!

Fall Blessings

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I'm sharing a project for the Paper Crafting World design team blog.
I've used the Bear n Pumpkin Patch file which comes colored and in line art.

I imported the colored version into my Silhouette, traced it and added an offset.  Then I did a print and cut.  I stamped the sign board with a stamp from My Creative Time and added some highlights to the image using Copic markers and a fine tip marker.  I placed the image on the new Scallop Caddy Box by Jaded Blossom which was cut out using my Cuttlebug.  I also added some grass from the Spring Dies set by Jaded Blossom.  A twine bow and some Doodlebug sequins finished my little treat box.
