My Time to Craft #398 ~ Make it Krafty

Hi Crafty Friends, Our challenge for My Time to Craft is to use Kraft paper. I love using Kraft paper for my card projects.  All of my daughter's Save the Dates and Wedding Invitations were made using Kraft paper bases.  I'm now in the process of making 50th Anniversary invitations, also with Kraft paper bases.  Here's how they turned out.

My wedding flowers were daisies so when La-La Land Crafts released their spring kit which included a daisy background stamp I was thrilled.  The daisy line art stamp was also included in the background set.  I used my MISTI to add the line stamps so they would be uniform on all of the invitations. I used my Silhouette to cut the gold numbers and shadow using glitter paper from Michael's and AC black card stock.  Then I added gold Stickles to the daisy centers.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Invitations Galore set.

My Time to Craft ~ Challenge, Use Kraft

Hi Crafty Friends,
We have a fun challenge for you at My Time to Craft. You must use Kraft paper ~ layer it, die cut it, color or stamp on it ~ your choice!
I decided to try coloring on Kraft using Prisma pencils.  I'm so used to blending with Copic markers so this is a new crafty challenge for me.  I'm finding you can still create depth using lots of colors but it really requires a soft touch.  Once the pencil lead is burnished, no more layering!  I'll definitely have to keep practicing.

I stamped the image on Kraft using Versafine ink and then began coloring.  The patterned paper is from my stash.  The sentiment is from a BugBites set (she no longer creates stamps) and the ribbon and die is from this month's Paper Door kit from Whimsy stamps.
There is so much you can create using Kraft paper.  My daughter's Save the Dates and Wedding Invitations were done using primarily Kraft.

Always Fun Challenge # 54 ~ Use Kraft

Hi Crafty Friends, Do you love using Kraft paper?  I love using it for card bases and I've been practicing coloring using pencils on it as well  (I need practice!) This week's Always Fun Challenge is to use Kraft on your project. Here's my project.

I love Peeps anytime of year.  I used a stamp/die set from Simon Says Stamp monthly club.  The patterned paper has been in my stash for a really long time - isn't it cute?
