Cut it Up Challenge #266 ~ Winter

Hi Crafty Friends,

We're up to Challenge #266!  Our theme is "Winter" and we're being sponsored by
Oddball Art Co. which provided the image I used for this card.

The image is colored with Copic Markers.  I chose papers from LaLa Land Crafts Winter sample pack.
The sentiment and die cuts are from Jaded Blossom.

I hope you'll join us and play along at Cut it Up Challenge Blog.
Don't forget to use a die cut on your project.

SPECIAL NOTE*****
We're making some changes in the new year.  I will become to new administrator for the
Cut it Up Challenge Blog.
Beginning with the first January challenge, we will no longer have sponsors, just challenge THEMES.
We're hoping that our challenges will interest you enough to play along and share your crafty ideas with the crafting community.

There will be an occasional prize package, just to keep things fun.
Be on the lookout for a Design Team Call in January.  We'd like to expand our team.

We'll have one more sponsored challenge before the changes take place.

Cut it Up Challenge #254 ~ Magical Creatures

Hi Crafty Friends,

We have a new challenge up at Cut it Up Challenge Blog.

Our sponsor, Oddball Art, provided our images for the
Magical Creatures challenge.  I am using the Lizzy Love image.

Along with this sweet image from Oddball Art, I used the new forest dies, side butterfly die, and Magical Forest papers from LaLa Land Crafts.  The scene was colored using Copic Markers and added some Liquid Pixie Dust for a touch of sparkle.

Come play along with our challenge.
Remember that you must follow the challenge theme and include a die cut on your project.

We always appreciate it when you support the wonderful sponsors that provide the prizes to our challenge winners.

Cut it Up Challenge #246 ~ Snowmen

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our Cut it Up Challenge is SNOWMEN.
I felt odd making a snowman card because we've been having warm weather in California.  However, this morning I woke up to a hard frost.  Our lawn looks like it's covered with snow - who knew?
I guess the weather is as unpredictable as the world situation - ugh!

Our sponsor, Oddball Art, provided the team with some really cute digital snowmen to use.

Here's my project.

This is the cover of the card using a card mat die from Whimsy stamps.
I colored the two snowmen the same for a reason:
here's the inside.

I loved this sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Winter Wishes stamp set and figured this might be a clever way to convey the message.

If you haven't worked with digital stamps, you're missing out on some creative versatility.  This is the same stamp, but I was able to reverse it and resize it to create the card.
I colored using Copic Markers, cut the images out using a Scan NCut 2, and used the Gemini Jr. for die cutting.

I hope you'll play along.  Oddball Art is providing a $10 gift voucher to their store for our lucky winner.
