We're "On the Move" at Tuesday Throwdown

Today is my first challenge as a Design Team Member for
For this week's challenge, we're "On the Move."  Robyn's Fetish is our sponsor this week and each member selected one of her digital images to create a card to which we added a moving part.

I chose the "Horsing Around" digital image for my card.  Since this girl is definitely playing the princess part, I added the crown and diva cut from the Rock Princess Cricut cartridge.  The paper is from an older Making Memories stack and the ribbon is from my stash.  The digi stamp was colored with Copic Markers.

The digital image is the moving part of the card.  I made my own "wobble" so that the horse and rider rock back and forth.

I'd like to invite you to visit the Tuesday Throwdown blog to see the rest of the design team creations and to link your own "On the Move" project.  Don't forget to add a moving part.

Thanks for sharing in my newest designing adventure.  My journey continues.

Rock Princess Butterfly

The butterfly on the Indie Art cartridge has always been my favorite, but I think it just got replaced.  This butterfly is from Rock Princess and I think it's pretty darn fabulous!!  The tag is from Gypsy Wanderings with a computer generated sentiment. The card is an A2 - my go-to size.  Okie Ladybug shared that Staple's had A2 envelopes on sale so I stocked up - woohoo!

I've received several blog awards this past week.  My blogging friends are so special and I truly appreciate the kind thoughts.  I feel badly that I haven't passed them forward yet, but I will definitely share the love in the next day or two.
Thanks for stopping by.

Cards Using Two of My Newest Cartridges

I used two more of my new cartridges to make these cards.  The first one is for a kindergartner who recently had surgery to repair a cleft palate.  I thought a visit from Nemo might cheer him up so I used Best of Pixar.  Nemo and the layers were cut at 2.75".  I sometimes shy away from cartridges that have lots of layers and tiny pieces, but this one came together quite easily. The sentiment was cut from Wild Card.

I used Rock Princess for the second card.  Tween-agers are so into skeletons and I thought this little lady was especially cute with her heart eyes and bow.  I  liked the font for the sentiment - also from Rock Princess.

Wow!  Getting this posted has been tricky.  We've had two power outages in the last 3 hours!  We don't know what happened - the weather is clear - but there were outages all over our area.  I've reset all the clocks, digital frames, coffee makers, satellite, etc., for the second time, so I hope it that's the end of it.

Hugs and Happy Crafting,
Larelyn
