Love Me, Love Me Not

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's my day to post on the Paper Crafting World blog.

I am so ready for spring, how about you?

Today I'm sharing a cute little digi file that can be for spring, Easter, or just to say, "I love you."

This file is Bunny, He Loves Me DS which can be found in the
Paper Crafting World store.  Just click the link to go directly to the file.

Everything used on this card is from my craft stash.  The pattern paper is a scrap from Authentique.  The "love" is a chippie from Make It Crafty.  I love these because you can color them so easily with Copic markers so that they match your design.  The filigree flower is a LaLa Land die.  And, of course, I colored with Copic Markers.

Thanks for stopping in today.  Please visit the PCW store for your spring and Easter cut file and digi projects.  There are so many to choose from.

Birthday Card Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends,

We're making Birthday cards for challenge #116 at
Cut it Up Challenge Blog.

Who doesn't need a stash of birthday cards?  Just remember that you must use a die cut.

Here's my card.

I used Jaded Blossom Birthday Dies (balloon), Card Mat Dies, and Border Dies 2.  The Happy Birthday die was in a Crafter's Companion HSN set.

The Cut it Up challenge is being sponsored by

Scalloped Oval Dies
Stitched Oval Dies
Border Dies 2
Bow Dies

The tag is from a sticker set I had in my stash.

You're So Cool!

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today is my day to post on the Paper Crafting World design team blog.

We've had so much rain and snow in Northern California that I think we're all ready to start thinking about summer and summer treats.  Of course, in my book, anytime is the right time for ice cream so this little treat holder would work year-round for me.

I've used the Ice Cream Cone Box CF from Paper Crafting World and cut it out using my Silhouette.
I added "sprinkles" using Nuvo Crystal Drops and a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Ice Cream Kit stamps set stamped on one of JB's Dimensional Banner dies.

Wouldn't it be fun to fill this little box with goodies to top your ice cream sundae?

Thanks for dropping by!

Hi Crafty Friends,

For Challenge #115 at Cut it Up Challenge Blog, we made Bendi Cards!!!  Regina from The Cutting Cafe is our challenge sponsor and she provided the files for us to us.

Let me tell you, this card was so much fun to create.  I had a picture in my head and it turned out even better than I imagined.  I used the Bendi Card file and then added die cut embellishments from LaLaLand Crafts along with LaLaLand's Marci in Kimono stamp.

Here's my Bendi Card:

Supplies used:
The Cutting Cafe:  Bendi Card set
LaLaLand Crafts:  Pagoda Die, Cherry Blossom Branch Die, Cherry Blossom Flowers Die, Filigree Hearts Die, Shabby Flourishes Die, Kimono Marci stamp
Copic Markers, Stickles, VersaMagic Chalk Ink, Signo gel pen, DCWV Mariposa Stack, My Paper Studio Be Bold, Be Bright stack,  word die from Neat & Tangled.

I hope you'll play along with us.
There are so many Bendi card files and you can create your own as well.  Just Google Bendi Folds.

Our thanks to The Cutting Cafe for our files and for sponsoring this challenge.

Tea Time?

Hi Crafty Friends,

We have such a fun theme at Cut it Up Challenge Blog today.  For challenge #114 we're thinking wonderful winter HOT DRINKS!  I really followed the rules on this one.  Since it's required to follow the theme and use a DIE CUT, I used  a bunch!!!  Take a look.

LOL, I love metal dies so I was going through all my sets (ya know, that point where you've got to explore because you've honestly forgotten what all you have?)  I'm usually pretty CAS, but I thought it would be fun to break out of that mold and add touches here and there.

Here's what I've used:
Jaded Blossom:  Word dies - cut out of toner paper and foiled, Scalloped Rectangle Dies
Memory Box:  heart
Sizzix: tea pot and cup
QuicKutz:  crate
Spellbinders:  fancy labels, cut in half

Some flowers, leaves, ribbon and ink to add a few extra touches.

Thanks for stopping in.  You can join our challenge by linking your HOT DRINK project above.

Please welcome our new sponsor:
Newton's Nook Designs.

Delightful Challenge #18

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time for the first Delightful Challenge of the New Year!

For challenge #18 I used Digital Delights by Louby Loo's
January Cupcake.  Did you know there is a cupcake image for every month of the year?  You need to check them all out.

Along with coloring with Copic Markers and Sakura Gel Pens, I've also used Jaded Blossom's Stitched Rectangle Dies and Border Dies 2.  The ribbon is crinkle ribbon that I made myself.

I hope you'll join in our Anything Goes Challenge.  Just click the Challenge link above or on my sidebar.  You have 3 weeks to enter for a chance to win a credit voucher to the Digital Delights store.  One lucky crafter will also be selected to post as a guest designer on March 30.
