The Merry Christmas Challenge #11

Hi Crafty Friends,
Time again for the Holly and Ivy team to post on The Merry Christmas Challenge Blog.
Our optional theme is the Grinch Movie.

I think this Grinch is delightfully evil but I must say that the one in the movie (not the animated film) kind of scares me!!!
I purchased this cut file on Etsy.  I used my Silhouette but it was tricky finding the right paper that would cut these lines.  I used Doodlebug Designs card stock and set my Silhouette ot overcut.  Than seemed to work best.  I found the font for the sentiment on DaFont.

Always Fun Challenge #49 ~ Shades of Green

Hi Crafty Friends,
Sometimes it's just fun to select a set of papers and play around with an arrangement. I love Authentique papers and have had this St. Pat's 6x6 pad for awhile.  I thought it would be the perfect paper for Always Fun's Shades of Green challenge.

The die cuts are from Jaded Blossom's St. Patrick's die set.

Aloha Friday Challenge for Kitty Bee Designs

I'm sharing my Mid-Inspiration post for Kitty Bee Designs Aloha Friday Challenge. Our theme for challenge #113 is "In the Garden." I'm using a digital stamp from one of our sponsors, Star Stamps, called Spring Bumble Bee.

Isn't this image sweet?  I found the patterned paper in my stash.  Lord knows how long I've had it! I colored the image using Copic Markers and added some Wink of Stella for a little sparkle.

Cut It Up Challenge #143 ~ Digitally Yours

Always Fun Challenge #48 ~ Inspired by a Movie

Hi Crafty Friends,
For my Always Fun Challenge this week, I was inspired by the movie, Despicable Me.
My grown daughter still gets a kick out of the Minions so I made this card to send to her.

The cut file is from SVGCuttingFiles.com but, unfortunately is no longer available.
I used my Silhouette to cut out the pieces and then used some great Authentitque papers to create the card.

My Besties International Challenge ~ March

Hi Crafty Friends,
Is March "roaring in like a lion" at your home?  We're expecting some stormy weather here in northern California which is good since we really need the rain but not so good since most of the trees are blossoming.
Our optional theme for My Besties International Challenge is  Girls with big hats or hair pretties! 
I'm not a hat person, big or otherwise but the image I'm using is Fancy Pants Loves Copics and you know I'm definitely a Copic person!!!

The Merry Christmas Challenge #9

Hi Crafty Friends,
The Holly and Ivy Team is up for challenge #9.  Our optional theme is Snowmen. I love snowmen and have a pretty good collection (which are still on display - eeek!)
Here's my card for this challenge.

I colored this image in multiples to have a set of cards to send.  I love the Buffalo print patterned paper.  The sentiment is from a sticker set by Carta Bella.  I colored using Copics.  This image is a digi stamp from Copic Marker Scrapbooking which is no longer in existence.  So glad I have this file because I think he's a great snowman.

Kitty Bee Designs DT Spotlight

Hi Crafty Friends,

My turn to share another Kitty Bee Designs Spotlight image.

This month I've chosen
Narwhal Love which can be purchased HERE.

It's such a sweet image.  All of the papers including the frame are from my stash.
The "waves" were created using a LaLa Land Crafts die.  I colored using Copics and added some Wink of Stella and a gem.

Always Fun Challenges #47 ~ Travel

Hi Crafty Friends,
This week's Always Fun Challenge is TRAVEL. I knew I had the perfect LaLa Land Crafts dies and digi to create a card for this theme.

The patterned papers are from Bo Bunny's Weekend Market 6x6 pad. I used LaLa Land's Winter Marci digi stamps for my image which I colored using Copic markers.  I used dies from both LaLa Land and Jaded Blossom cutting them all out using my Gemini Jr.

Cut It Up Challenges ~ Anything Goes

Hi Crafty Friends,
I know you'll love our next challenge because it's ANYTHING GOES!!
Our sponsor, Ink on 3, provided files for our DT projects.
Here's mine using the Peacock Basket 3D SVG file.

This file was so easy to cut and assemble.  I used my Silhouette and embossed one layer using an Anna Griffin embossing folder.  I used foam tape between several of the layers for some added dimension and added a few gems to the peacock.  My daughter recently got engaged and I was experimenting with her wedding colors.  She was happy with the Tiffany Blue, orange, and gray combination.
